Faked me out, thought at first it was an airline. After 10+ hours in the air with my knees in my face, I wish they would do this to all the planes that are produced.
Oh, those are still there too lol
Th0se luxury coaches are for the entrepreneurial class...
When I first saw it I thought ‘gotta be Emirates’... and upscale India Greyhound was the FURTHEST thing from my mind as well
Wow...amazing! I don’t like road trips..but I might be able to tolerate this!
This 27-story, 40,000 sq/ft tower, pictured above, where no two floors are identical, is the unique and extravagant creation of owners Mukesh and Nita Ambani. Costing greater than a hotel or high-rise, due to its custom measurements and fittings, it comes down complete with a six-story carpark and also begins on the ninth floor.
570 feet in height and mostly glass, it has a staff of 600 servants. The ballroom boasts a crystal chandelier ceiling and features retractable showcases for artwork and entertainment stages. It has an indoor/outdoor bar, green rooms along with a nearby entourage room for security guards and assistants to relax. Each floor is double the amount average height, technically which makes it 60 stories tall, perfect for its helipad. This home dwarfs any other, financially and in stature, and will probably be number one for some time.
There’s a stupid commercial on TV that has a train in the US looking like that.
And the whole tone of the commercial is that this is upbeat and great.
Nice ... run that service along the US east coast, with bus terminals in decent parts of town and rental car outlets at the terminals ... I might be interested.
Here you go, annoying stupid commercial courtesy of Dow.
Either way, silly commercial. I'd also add - "plataforma" is not US.
It is a dumb commercial. However, the point is not about trains being great to travel on (they are, IMHO), so your comment vis`a`vis Indian overstuffed trains is sort of non-sequitur. It’s about making it quieter for those not on the train.
Either way, silly commercial.

There's the issue, right there! Our daughter took the Lucky Star bus from South Station in Boston to Manhattan, and she said the 'terminal' in NYC wasn't bad at all. It wasn't a large place, because they only board one bus at at time, every hour, on the hour. It was a lot cheaper than airline travel, too!
Put the bus terminal at the nice mall, with feeder buses coming in from the surrounding area.
Plenty of well lit parking, food court and satellite restaurants provide decent food.
Let UPS manage it instead of Greyhound. Or Mexico’s ADO bus lines. Not quite as fancy as Olivia, but better than the airlines I flew into Cancun.
A good bus line, plus a high speed (90 mph), bus only lane on the interstates would replace airlines on the 200-300 mile segments.
Oh, and ban the TSA.
Oooooh. Rolling Plunder!
Quite annoying, got to see it alot while in South Carolina from March to last week.
And.. the imagery could have been far better to convey the message.
