What is it about Massachusetts? All the weirdo’s in the world seem to collect there.

It's California on the Atlantic.

Isn’t Obamaland great?

Now go pay your taxes - your government is broke. :)

I agree. As offensive as this sounds, I believe that a person should have the right to rent to whoever they please. That being said, if this was a Christian not wanting to rent to a homosexual, or a white person not wanting to rent to a minority, the left would be up in arms. I hope he wins the suit, and then prominently displays an American flag onsite. Liberals can’t stand the sight of it.

Yes, but it’s wrong by natural law and natural rights. Bad laws.

Anyone else see the irony in a pacifist starting a huge fight over this?

They’ve driven entire conservative businesses out because they wouldn’t marry gays, etc.

Sauce for the gander. Actually, I don’t think it’s fair, either, but if they are going to write jerky laws, why should we fight with one hand behind our backs?

Nothing wrong with telling people about it!

She would probably rent to a member of NAMBLA.

He was NOT trying to rent a room in her home but rather a separate apartment. This woman probably wouldn’t rent to a Christian heterosexual either. Her attitude is not only offensive, it is illegal

I agree. Just because she is an idiot is not the issue. Either we have private property rights or we don’t. Nobody should be forced to rent their property to anyone regardless of the reason.

Just as a point of information. In Iowa, if you live a duplex or triplex, you can discriminate as much as you want on the other units. At least this was the law 25 years ago and I don’t think it changed but you can bet it is not promoted. It seems to be a sensible law.

The woman is a snake but I think property owners should have a right to rent to whoever they feel like without social engineering policies from the government.
