Forget the rigged polls and the media happy face. Mitt Romney will win the White House in November, probably in a big way, unless he is foolish enough to repeat John McCains, 2008 display of campaign cowardice.
The 3 ½ year reign of Barack Hussein Obama has been a disaster for taxpayers, most of the business world and the American public in general.
He has waged war on energy producers, threatening the coal industry with destruction, shutting down the drilling of oil and driving natural gas suppliers from the country, all the while wielding the EPA like a sword to wreak havoc on corporations and individuals alike.
He has wasted billions of tax dollars in politically motivated green energy ventures, usually for the purpose of enticing money fromor bailing outbig money contributors to the Democrat Party.
He has created...

Gore Praises Romney's 'Climate Protection Plan'

Carville(D):
"It's a feel-good story, this Romney thing.
Romney is an ascendant guy."
Sen. John Kerry (D) to Don Imus on RomneyCARE:
"I like this health care bill".
Sen. Hillary Clinton (D) on RomneyCARE:
"To come up with a bipartisan plan in this polarized environment is commendable."
I agree with the title...the problem is he just might run a mccain campaign.
The thing which infuriated me with McCain is he never had a bad thing to say about Obama but regularly attacked conservatives.
Romney will not run a McCain campaign. Romney WANTS this so badly that I believe he’ll do anything necessary to win. He’ll run the most ruthless campaign the democrats have ever seen from a modern GOP presidential candidate. I will enjoy watching Romney hand obama his ass.
Do Romney and the GOP really want the WH or is it all just smoke and mirrors?
Sometimes I get the impression that we have but one party — the Republicrats.
The Obamanator is about to be terminated. He’ll be lucky to escape a Mexican prison cell for aiding drug cartels in the transport of automatic weapons and the death of hundres of mexican nationals.
“I agree with the title...the problem is he just might run a mccain campaign.”
No he won’t. I doubt he’d pick Sarsh Palin for his VP
“Hell run the most ruthless campaign the democrats have ever seen from a modern GOP presidential candidate.”
How? By agreeing with him on all the issues?
Romney can smile and wave his way to the Presidency.
People will go into the voting booth and vote, “Not Obama Again!”
Sadly, they will be wrong about that. Romney is Obama again, but he reflects more light.
An unworthy question unworthy of a serious response.
1. Romney is not conservative.
2. Romney is a liar.
3. Romney is a PROVEN poor campaigner, governor, leader.
4. Romney is an absolute liberal to the left of Ted Kennedy.

You can give it a rest now. Nobaody’s apying attention any more.
You can give it a rest now. Nobody’s apying attention any more.
Good point. They should.
1. Romney is not conservative.
2. Romney is a liar.
3. Romney is a PROVEN poor campaigner, governor, leader.
4. Romney is an absolute liberal to the left of Ted Kennedy.

Well, if folks who call themselves conservatives once again support what they say they hate, one socialist or another will win, that’s for sure.
If he wins by a majority, or worse, a landslide, he and moderate Republicans would be crowing that Romney and all his progressivism had a MANDATE. He, the GOP elite, and moderates throughout the party would snub conservative Republicans at every turn -- and Republicans in Congress would move LEFT in order to be perceived as "team players."
Limited government conservatives would NOT ONLY be fighting Democrats in order to fight FOR YOU AND ME, they'd be fighting their own Republican president a whole helluva lotta Republicans who'd rather be in good with the President than with you and me.
Romney a distinguished track record of ADVANCING not one, not two, but FIVE liberal agendas: cap-and-trade global warming regulation, government-run health care, on-demand abortion, activist judges, and the homosexual agenda. He wasn't just neutral on those issues, Romney ADVANCED THEM, grew them, made them more powerful!!!
WAKE UP, people! For crying out loud!!! If, God forbid, Romney becomes our next president elected by a landslide, you can just kiss limited government conservatism goodbye, because under a Romney adminstration able to say it was put in place by a mandate, limited government conservative Republicans would be quaint oddities, crazy-old-uncles, and made to sit down and shut up.
We had all better start praying now that whichever socialist gets the presidency, is elected ONLY on a plurality with ZERO mandate. THAT is the only way that limited government conservative Republicans can win.
Will you enjoy watching Romney hand limited government conservatives their asses while Democrats are praised by the MSM for being "bi-partisan" in joining Romney and Republican moderates for all of Romney's big-government "progressive solutions" to health care, global warming, etc?
LOOK AT ROMNEY'S RECORD. Voting for Romney is as stupid as voting for an orange juice can.
I'm voting neutral in the O v R race and casting my vote for an official on-the-ballot third party presaidential candidate -- it's the ONE THING I CAN DO to help the limited government Republicans and conservatives I'll be voting for everywhere else on the ballot. My third party vote will have zero impact on whether Obama or Romney gets the White House, but it will, in its small way, contribute to weakening the victory of whichever statist wins.
I hope at least 25% of Americans disgusted with statist authoritarianism in BOTH parties vote third party in the presidential, because if Obama or Romney only wins on, say, a 38% plurality where 62% voted AGAINST him, he'll enter office on the defensive and politically vulnerable. The smaller his plurality, the better the chance for our limited government Republicans to battle him successfully.
For the "victor" to squeak in on a wimpy, turbulent plurality is the ONLY CHANCE for limited goverment conservatism. It is THE ONLY WAY WE CAN TRIUMPH.
Because voting for Romney because he's not Obama, is as stupid as voting for an orange juice can. You think you're being "serious" when in reality, you're being panicked.
Amen, Brother FReeper. And good tagline.
I hope you, and other fellow FReepers, will seriously, prayerfully, consider my candidacy.
Understand that I have no illusions that the third party candidate I vote for will win. At this stage of the game, my SOLE PURPOSE for casting a third-party vote in the presidential would be to weaken the victory of the winner. But I am praying for a miracle to happen to where I can cast my third party vote for a worthy candidate who could WIN and bring limited government conservatism into power.
Will definitely consider voting for you! Thanks for the link and thanks for stepping up to the plate.

Are you still killing your unborn? -- GOD |
You are an idiot. I wish you happiness in that special little world that you and your fellow useful idiots inhabit. All 25 of you.
We've listed some civil, thoughtful alternatives and views here with regard to Romney, we've raised some pretty good questions that you COULD choose to address to salve our concerns, but this is the best you can come up with? Hurling insults?
Could it be because other than Obama Hysteria, recounting the nightmares that might come to pass in a worst-case scenario, you cannont defend the indefensible?
Those of you hovering on the fence, I suggest that the behavior this guy is reduced to should be a clue. Your common sense is telling you to spit Romney out. Follow it or you might end up like this guy who is intellectually so bereft that he's reduced to, "You are an idiot," etc.
Just who are you going to vote for (if you vote at all)? You realize your next president is going to be either Obama or Romney? (Well, maybe you don't.)
Here is what my common sense -- which has served me quite well for many, many years -- tells me. Romney can at least -- however unlikely -- be won over to our side on some issues. Why? Because his bad policies are based on *ignorance*. Which can be corrected.
President Obama, on the other hand, will *never* be won over to our side. On any issue. His destructive policies are not based on ignorance -- they are based on malice. His sole purpose is to bring this country to its knees. There is no rationalizing with him; there is no compromising with him.
You see no difference at all between a typical, ignorant RINO pol and a committed Cloward-Piven Marxist, hell-bent on the total destruction of the United States. It's stunning. Absolutely stunning.
Gee ... I've only answered that question in specific DETAIL numerous times on this thread. Do you actually read the posts??????
If that is all you have to say, I guess you didn’t read my post either.
Not as stunning as the revelation that you think poor Romney isn't a bad kind of statist socialist authoritarian (clearly you are a stranger to his actual RECORD) -- it's just that his policies are based on ignorance! He'll listen to us!
Yeah -- ignorance he has had before and after the days he publicly distanced himself from Reagan. I'll say one thing for you, your own "bad policy" of thinking Romney won't fight conservatives harder than he'll fight the Democrats who like his "policy," can only be based in ignorance -- ignorance of Romney's feet-on-the-ground RECORD.
Your gullibility is stunning.
Maybe you can quote from my post where I said anything remotely similar to that, you illiterate prick.
When a few posts earlier, I wrote:

CLEARLY you didn't read it or you wouldn't have asked the question, because it addresses specifically all three things that you wanted to know.
YOU are a typical representation of the caliber of "thinkers" who want sensible Americans to vote for a nut candidate.
WTF cares?
Your religion hobby horse is beneath the noise level in 2012!
Gladly:

I think most people would say an accurate assessment of that is that Romney is only a socialist because he doesn't know any better. But I'm forgetting -- if you're not familiar with his record, you have zero comprehension of the things he's actually DONE that are things done only by statist socialist authoritarian types.
Yeah, you're a *real* thinker, all right. Romney might be the shits, but did it occur to you that a President Romney wouldn't betray our national security secrets the way Obama is now? Wouldn't unilaterally cut by 75% our nuclear arsenal, the way Obama is planning to do now? Wouldn't use our military to help bring the Muslim Brotherhood into power in Libya, Egypt, and now probably soon Syria, the way Obama has been doing now?
*NO* difference at all between Obama and Romney? And you pride yourself as a "thinker"?
Between horrible and deadly, I'll choose horrible.
What ELSE can a MORMON do;
when their target fails to be intimidated?
Ma'am; we tried those once; but we got nowhere.
We'll stick with our bikes. Thanks anyway.
Me too!
