Scott Walker 'the liberal slayer' wins one for the producers(he is our Tea Party model hero)

Wisconsin count as of 11:30pm EST , Walker 54%, Barrett 45%. NBC calls it for Walker back at about 10pm.

Walker hero

It was a classic.

I watched MSNBC all night flipping to FNC only briefly from time to time. Over at ‘MSNBC/Destroy Walker-BC’ they were predicting such a close election that they said it would probably require a recall. 'Be prepared for a long night' they repeated. Dem are knocking on a million doors today, boots on the ground', they were calling those who didn't vote in 2010 to shame them to get out and vote.

Then with 1% counted Walker had 63% vs 37%, no big deal

Then with 20% counted Walker had ~60% vs 40%, AHHHH,, that was just before 10pm. Then almost immediately Maddow reports that NBC projects Walker the winner. It was so sad to see liberals hopes crushed... over so soon :( :)

Then O Donnell comes on at 10pm and declares that the race has a huge winner for ‘President Obama’ ??? What??? Then he spends about 7 whole minutes out of the 50 of his show talking about WI, the other 43 talking about Romney.

The big loser was MSNBC who put everything behind recalling Walker, now they are all making excuses, Walker BOUGHT the election????

Walker 54%, Barrett 45%

Where will the final vote be? This seems to reflect the polls we were seeing for a couple of weeks. It certainly wasn't too close to call.

RE :”They deluded themselves. Keep living in fairyland democrats!!!

The past few nights MSNBC led their viewers to think that Walker would lose and the tide had turned. Those that bought it must be crushed, but they sounded convincing. They were saying that it would be down to one vote (sounds like they were lying.)

Reminds me of Hannity on election nights 2006 and 2008.

The bigger question is that this recall was demanded by the unions. Why did the unions pull back after Barrett won the primary and NOT FUND HIM? The Democrats expected big money from both the unions and the Democrat Party, neither of which ponied up much of anything.

Why?

Dem analysts (including O’Malley) came on TV tonight to explain that Walker’s win is not a problem for Obama in WI this November, because exit polls showed that many of the Walker voters would vote for Obama in November. However, the exit polling tonight was way off. If the exit polls had been representative of the voting, Barrett would have come very close to beating Walker.

That’s why the networks didn’t call the election for Walker sooner.

I read that the Repubs spent about 45 million, and that the Dems spent about 18 mil. That’s how PMS-NBC is getting away with saying that the Democrats were ‘outspent’. They are NOT saying, however, how much the UNIONS spent, on behalf of Barrett, with their campaign against Walker. I’m sure they spent 10s of millions.

They could easily have spent close to the same amount that Walker Spent since he entered office. I remember enough to know that they’ve been attempting to throw their union fits against Walker and Protesting against him since he entered office. However, plenty of the populace, as indicated by both Walker’s election and failed recall, are fine with Walker. As for Wisconsin, there are still plenty of Democratic influences there, but the fact that plenty of the populace is fed up against Union Corruption, plenty depends on how Obama plays this, if he shows his pity to the unions losing this one, he will have likely less popular support. If Obama says nothing about this at all, then way more, and this could be a win in state vote against Romney, but only time will tell.
