I think it comes down to this: In Burger’s racialist view of the world, “brown people” (his words, not mine) must not ever be shown as villains. It’s well and good to have Arab, Jewish, black or Hispanic heroes, that’s fine. But if you show any of them or other “protected classes” (gays, etc) in a negative light, this is evidence of racism. It only works one way in Burger’s racialist view of the world. Protected classes must never be written as bad guys!
Exactly. Race is a tiny part of my trilogy. Now that Fast and Furious is looking so much like the fictional plot of EFAD, the statist goons and their “journalist” bootlickers will try to find some angle to attack and discredit it. But all they accomplish is to let more people know about the books.

I think he wrote this a few months ago, back when he emailed me for an interview and I declined forcefully to play his fool. He homed in on the Memphis cannibalism incident in FEAT as outrageous, so I wonder if he’s noticed how many news stories about modern cannibalism there have been lately?

Yeah, the black, Hispanic, Jewish, Arab etc heroes in my novels must just be a smoke screen to hide my actual sub-rosa racism, which only a PC-trained would-be race commissar like Burger can ferret out.

But it's good for us racists to get a stern lecture from a paragon of non-racism such as our author, well, if you can overlook the rather odd sobriquet "brown people", that is. It appears to cover a spectrum including Lebanese and Cuban. I'm not actually sure what it means, exactly, but whoever they are, we better not hate them, and except for the fact that they're your protagonists, enlightened people know that we all really do hate them. Whoever they are. On the one hand I'd love to hear the guy expand on whatever the hell it is he's talking about but on the other I'm happy not to have to read any more of his writing. You can't be any more of a failure than to be a critic who can't write himself.
I loved your first book and am looking forward to the next one.

Although I’m not your level (not even close) as a writer, I had the same thing happen to me. I had written a blog that defended Sarah Palin’s use of the word “blood libel” and some lib group put it on their site as an example of “right wing antisemitism.”
Funny thing is, I’m Jewish.

This J.M. Burger sure is reaching to paint you as some sort of racist. He has plenty of examples such as Reverend Al & Jesse & Wright, Farrakan, and some Hollywood comedians. It’s funny that only whites are racist.
That is actual doctrine on the left. They *define* racism to be only possible by white people.
Yes, I know that is insane, but the left is nothing if you remove its false assumptions about reality and inject truth. They lie all the time, to everyone and each other, because their only moral standard is: does this act advance our agenda?
That quickly degenerates into: does this act advance our power, my groups power, and ultimately, some leaders power. Thus, anything becomes morally acceptable.
