The standing argument of the Barack Obama supporters since his entry into national politics has been that the guy is so good, only a bigot could oppose his election.
So when (if?) Obama is defeated in November, what will the Obama defenders and loyalists say?

I’m surprised he’s willing to risk losing in a landslide. If we had a decent candidate his loss would certainly be Mondalian—and it may be anyway. That kind of loss doesn’t seem like something his delicate ego can handle.
They’ll say “Obama lost because he’s black and everyone else is RACIST!!!!!” Also, we’ll hear how “Obama losing proves that racism is on the rise”.
Racism and inbred hatred for ugly as dirt first lady’s.
Only racism will be blamed. Doesn’t matter that whites voted him into office.
Let’s wait until early November before we have this discussion. You know, “Don’t count your chicken...” Five month period is like eternity in politics.

Authoritarians of whatever stripe—Marxist, Fascist, Democrat, RINO, etc.—hate free speech.
How about... “the Republicans ruined the economy, then lied and blamed it on Obama to get Romney elected.” ? They are already blaming the bad economy on the Republicans’ election strategy.
Oh yeah... and it’s Bush’s fault.

Yes, narcissists don’t handle rejection very well. In the event it became clear he was facing a landslide, I wonder what kind of excuse he would conjure up to avoid the humiliation of a crushing defeat. Or would we witness a meltdown in public as the pressures intensified? He’s never had to face the stresses of being held accountable for anything in his life and seriously doubt he could withstand the spectre of a Mondalian type defeat.
He will be loud, and radically racial in attacking everything the new administration attempts.
As I always say, I do not hate Obama because he is black. I hate him for his bad policies. The fact that he is black is just a bonus!
