Barack Obama’s increasingly desperate struggle to win re-election is causing some of his worst traits to be put on display, including petulance and self-pity. The latest example occurred during a fundraiser in Baltimore, when the president said, “Because folks are still hurting right now, the other side feels that it’s enough for them to just sit back and say, ‘Things aren’t as good as they should be, and it’s Obama’s fault.’”
This is rich. No president in human history has quite equaled Obama when it comes to blaming others for his problems....

When a narcissist melts down, they do not capitulate, they get violent. Obama is a serial narcissist, and as his world crumbles around him, he's going to erect electric fences and demand obedience from "his people."
It will be a summer of martial law, I'd bet.

At the rate things are going ... dunno, I expect an October Surprise from this clown if he thinks he might lose. And not necessarily in October ...

That is within the confines of my prediction. If elections are suspended before January of next year, by definition he is no longer president, but dictator. In which case his presidency ended before the end of its term.

And I think it could go that way too. He could at least try it, and it might be part of his meltdown.
As has rightly been pointed out by many observers, Barack Obama was able to attain fifty years living on this planet without having to encounter any actual adversity.
Political correctness and affirmative action shepherded him through a shielded, protected life. “There was always a teacher or professor waiting there to turn his C- into an A” as talk show host Jim Quinn likes to point out.
Now he finds himself in a situation where the slings and arrows are flying, and he is totally unprepared to deal with them. The coming meltdown is going to be both revealing and sad. And should serve as a lesson to a society who manages to bring people to the half-century mark while yet being so totally dysfunctional.

The Dems hitched their wagon to the star of a talentless [unless you consider gaming the system via the race card and squandering other people’s $ ‘talents’] stoner/Malignant Narcissist. Now they face a stark choice: find a way to ease Obama out of the reelection campaign or go down w his sinking ship.
Meanwhile the MSM is too busy frantically offering Obama advice to notice he never takes any of it. The little credibility the MSM had left will be in hopeless tatters when this finally ends.

After all, after he loses, he will enjoy all the trappings of celebrity worship, he’ll become a gazzillionaire due to speeches and endoresments, he’ll take 1 or 2 years off,write a book and then get a TV show or just do the Bill Clinton thing. He’ll raise millions of extra bucks in this election bid, and I think he gets to keep what he doesn’t use, if I’m not mistaken... that will put him over a net worth of a couple 100 million.

Obama is a puppet. Problem is, his puppeteers were only prepared for phase one (if you will) - i.e., the deconstruction of capitalism. Now that they actually start seeing the abject inability of communism to succeed*, they don’t know what to do. (Other than get totalitarian on all our a##es).
*The historic failure of communist regimes is written off as not being done “right”. Their conceit makes them think they’re the ones that will ace it.
I really wish he would melt down and have to be taken off in a straight jacket. It would be the best alternative I can see. I do not think he will go quietly if he goes and I am not counting chickens on that though the wheels seem to to be falling off his tricycle.

The everyday “Blame Bush” worked to some degree - so the Obama message reinforced by msm still had power over a large portion of the mindless people.

I also saw the poll that showed Walker and Barrett neck and neck in WI. Polls have gone the way of Main Stream Journalism. There may be a couple of honest pollsters still out there, but the majority are bought and paid for.

I don’t know much more about Obama than I did 4 years ago..except he is the biggest lier in the known universe and a otherwise he’s very small and petty.

You are wrong (in order of how events will unfold).
The race riot will start the night of the election as soon as it is clear Obama loses in a landslide.
A league of lawyers will drag it on, while the usual suspects pour gasolines on the fire.
Obama will decide it is to our best interests that he “restore order and peace”.
I think his meltdown will occur on election night when he gives his concession speech: "Ahh, but the strawberries......that's where I had them!"

Romney can beat Obama simply by being nice and keeping his mouth shut.
Yawn....every election cycle I hear how the sitting president is going to suspend elections. Boring.

He doesn’t have the political capital to pull off anything like that. Even most of his own advisors would balk.
Interesting idea. That move would probably bring him a better result than the gay marriage ploy, but I doubt it would be enough to save him. The people who would be infuriated by it are all on our side of the aisle, but he could gain a few votes away from the Libertarian crowd. A lot of them wouldn’t be voting Republican in the first place, but he could improve his position.
I’ve often thought that Republicans could improve their electoral position significantly by adopting a sensible position on ending the WOD, even if they just took a state’s rights position on it. That could be the death knell for the Libertarian Party, and put a state like Colorado or New Mexico back into our column on a more consistent basis.
