DOJ whistle blowers provide Speaker Boehner with courage to charge Eric Holder

Just days ago, House Speaker John Boehner shocked the conservative world by at last granting his long awaited approval for next week’s contempt of congress vote against Attorney General Eric Holder.

But it wasn’t the thought of doing what’s right for the family of Brian Terry, Jaime Zapata or others killed in the Regime’s Fast and Furious scheme that prompted the Speaker’s decision.

After all, Mr. Boehner is hardly one to risk a loss of political advantage—or more importantly, anger the national media—just because a few hundred people have been killed by his Democrat friends.

No, the very cautious Congressman Boehner and other Republican leaders at last chose to take a stand because of reports that “…at least one and perhaps two sources within the Justice Department…have approached the Issa committee seeking whistle blower status.” (1)

For weeks it has been suggested that House and Senate committee’s investigating Eric Holder’s participation in Operation Fast and Furious were receiving vital information from a leak in...

The closer to the election we get, the less likely harsh action is taken. But then again, there’s always SOME REASON the RINOs opt to chicken out. There’s no more road left for the can to be kicked down.

Nothing is ever fixed in this country because every problem actually fixed is one less campaign issue that can be used.

I’m sliding ever more firmly into the term limits camp all the time. Tell congress that they might as well fix it now because they won’t be back anyway.

Boehner with stones?

A special prosecutor appointed to investigate and prosecute the few conservative Republicans, is more likely.

Even if Romney wins, Scooter Libby needs company.

Someone please get the Speaker a dictionary! Have him look up the word ‘courage’ before he let’s another obligation to the country go by.

So Boehner does something right and gets hammered. Option 2 is just stand by and do nothing?

Boehner will have help in snatching defeat from the jaws of Victory. Here is the response of the Congresscritter I tried to replace in the 2012 Texas Republican Primary:

Congressman Mac Thornberry is weighing in on the Eric Holder situation following Senator John Cornyn’s demands that holder resign as U.S. Attorney General.

Congressman Thornberry told us he disagrees with a lot of the actions Holder has taken, but says he recommends a different solution than Cornyn’s.

Congressman Thornberry says, “From the beginning of his tenure, there have been a number of bad judgments that have been made. I think, though, the way to solve this is with the ballot box in November and electing a new administration.”

Really?!?!? Sorry, Mac, but I have to disagree. Holder needs to be held in Contempt of Congress, and then forced to resign or be impeached for his actions/inactions!!!

The damage has been done, and so many lives were lost due to the decisions that Holder and his Department made. Hundreds of weapons were lost into the hands of the Mexican Drug Cartels. So many innocent people have been killed in Mexico with “our” weapons.

We have to stand up and do what is right and just -— hold the responsible parties accountable!!! We can not continue to “make nice” with our friends in Washington and kick the can down the road for someone else -— the voters in the case you state as your opinion -— to take care of in November.

So you’re OK if Holder just leaves his job in January when Obama doesn’t get reelected -— you call that accountability for the travesty that was done to Border Patrol Agent Brian Terry and his family??? You call that justice???

Sorry Mac, I don’t!!!

Absolutely unbelievable. The word coward is not strong enough to describe Boehner. My contempt for him and the congress knows no limit!
