PHILADELPHIA — Anthony Paradiso had attended his last political event more than four decades ago. But there he was, in line three hours early for a glimpse of Michelle Obama.
“She’s a motivator,” said Paradiso, who went to the rally just two days after he’d been discharged from a hospital after surgery. His last event: a Hubert Humphrey rally in 1968.

I know that we were just commenting yesterday that Mo hasn’t been on every magazine cover lately and we speculated that she has been such a flop they are keeping her under wraps.
The fashonista/TV star fundraiser was evidently not a success, either. No one of any note showed up. They may have sent checks, but they had pressing engagements with messy sock drawers.
Give Obama another 4 years and I can almost guarantee you will find her as a Candidate in 2016. Yes, there are enough stupid people in this country who would love to see her run.

The Hubert Humphrey rally attendee must have been one of the few. Didn’t he lose by the biggest margin ever? I thought he won only his home state. Let’s hope history repeats in this case. The man has a record for picking losers.
