A "green" energy company that received tens of millions of dollars from taxpayers while promising 70 jobs by the end of this year has created only three and received strong criticism from environmental and fiscal groups across the political spectrum.
In the company's filing with the SEC, Mascoma lists as a risk factor that it has "no experience in the markets in which we intend to operate."
Sound like a good investment? Your state and federal government thought so.

$120 million. That’s a lot of money. But since this is a GREEN company I assume that they happily RECYCLED some of that loot to the Obama Campaign. That would only be fair and, after all, it’s for the good of the earth and it’s people.

these kinds of stories just mean that Congress has too few members to provide the oversight We the People expect from them.
Why have a Congress if it can’t do its job...

..just another fine example, of pResident O'Bozo/ol' O'Biden/"tax-cheat" Gieter's
financial stewardship / wizardry; do the math.
$US120,000,000 / 3 = $US40,000,000

The Chicago mob, cheered on or ignored by the MSM depending on the circumstance, really knows how to operate.
There is a bit of humor in this story though, like the Calif high speed rail, Mascoma is being attacked by envirowhackos.

Did I read that correctly...$120 MILLION, 3 jobs? $40 MILLION per job? And no one can figure out why we,the rest of America are so pissed off.
