Obama to Spin Amnesty as his "Emancipation Proclamation"
http://www.ThurstonHowell.Net ^ | Scott Ryan

"...An “emancipation proclamation” is how he will have his servants such as Andrea Mitchell and David Gregory spin this recent declaration. They are working tirelessly at NBC; just last week they had another of their weekend anchor/propagandists actually comparing Jeremiah Wright to FREDERICK DOUGLASS!

So what is his "end game"? Why does he continue to methodically manufacture these specious Lincoln "equivalencies"? When observed within the context of his agenda, this could reasonably be interpreted as ANOTHER part of the equation to eventually force secession and foment civil war..."

The man hungers for civil war. Win or lose in November, he will plunge us into the fire.

What you just wrote is exactly so; we mustn’t give the communists what they want - a splintered U.S.A.

That's just - lovely! When the Hell do I get emancipated? Oh, I forgot, I'm a Caucasian male. My function is only to to serve as a source for funding redistribution of wealth to the portion of society that lacks the industry or will to make its own way through life.

Genuflectimus non ad principem sed ad Principem Pacis!

Listen, O isles, unto me; and hearken, ye people, from far; The LORD hath called me from the womb; from the bowels of my mother hath he made mention of my name. (Isaiah 49:1 KJV)

Great. The Emancipation Proclamation freed NO ONE. It was a political document ONLY.

Perhaps you are right, but speaking for myself; I would rather die free and standing on my feet than live on my knees.

Great. The Emancipation Proclamation freed NO ONE. It was a political document ONLY that went far beyond the constitutional powers given to the president.

“It was a political document ONLY that went far beyond the constitutional powers given to the president.”

Yes - and that is all the two proclamations have in common.

"I will say then that I am not, nor ever have been in favor of bringing about in anyway the social and political equality of the white and black races - that I am not nor ever have been in favor of making voters or jurors of negroes, nor of qualifying them to hold office, nor to intermarry with white people; and I will say in addition to this that there is a physical difference between the white and black races which I believe will forever forbid the two races living together on terms of social and political equality. And inasmuch as they cannot so live, while they do remain together there must be the position of superior and inferior, and I as much as any other man am in favor of having the superior position assigned to the white race. I say upon this occasion I do not perceive that because the white man is to have the superior position the negro should be denied everything." Abraham Lincoln

Another "equivalency" to Lincoln......both are racists

Right. The famous Lincoln/Douglas debates were in depth elucidations of his opposition toslavery; however, he was of the popular thinking of that time that white men were superior. But he still believed that slavery was evil

The distinction is often not made by historians. One cannot help but think what they think about superiority unless they are swayed by empirical evidence.

But he did believe that people he may have erroneously believed to be “inferior” still had the God given right by their Creator to inalienable rights as enumerated in the constitution. He also said that “if slavery is not an evil, nothing is”.

People here illegally who are working for lower wages than everybody else seems more like slavery...or at least a very cheap labor force. In actuality it is not very humane.

Too late, Ronald Reagan did amnesty in the 1980’s so he’s the Great Emancipator!

Obama’s more like The Great Contipator, the way he has business in this country all choked off and employment at a standstill.

His removal from office will be America’s “Emancipation Proclamation.”

It would be more humane to eliminate the minimum wage - it is the minimum wage that keeps the demand for illegal labor high and the demand for the labor of legal citizens’s so low that we have an underclass of unemployed youth. But no one in either party has the balls to lower or eliminate the minimum wage even though the federal government has no business in setting wages.

And pray tell, what do we have today? Left vs. Right; Minorities vs. Whites; Rich vs. Poor; and on and on, ad infinitum.

Am I missing something. When these young illegals file for their new freedom won’t they have to verify who and where their parents are. Will the parents then be deported?
Just confused by the whole thing.
