Why the Arizona Immigration Law is Correct
Tenth Amendment Network ^ | 6/26/2012 | Marc Gindin

The Supreme Court has a tendency to get in its own way. Brilliant minds sometimes miss the simplest of issues -- try having a five-minute conversation with Thomas Edison -- and sometimes, when the facts of a case are reduced to their simplest terms, the obvious answer presents itself. Unfortunately arguments before the Supreme Court often focus on the opposite: complex, even strained interpretations of constitutional and case law, without regard to practical application or, dare I say, common sense. Those arguments regarding the Arizona immigration law illustrate the case perfectly.

You may be right! Just think of the outrage that will occur if the Supreme Court allows the Health Care Mandate! Times are not like they use to be with the internet. Information and common sense abound.

If not a civil war, at least a call for a Constitution Convention to sort out which Constitutional Rights have been routinely ignored or just trampled all over - by Supreme Courts most of all.

“...at least a call for a Constitution Convention...”

We do not need or want a constitutional convention...we want appointments to the Supreme Court who will uphold the Constitution we already have.

You’re right! If the Supreme Court succumbs to political correctness here and allows this, it will be a massive uprising!

I am really getting tired of the courts ignoring the simple and easily determined Constitution in favor of liberal gadflies. Enough is enough!

If the Constitution does no prevail, I would expect an uprising. Maybe it is time for the Courts to understand that they do NOT have the final say!

I’m hoping that Atizona keeps complete statistics on how many illegals they detect and report to the federal authorities, and periodically issue comprehensive reports on how many times the feds fail to do anything about the illegals they’ve uncovered - let the nation see just how indifferent and derelict this administration really is......

.
Now you’re asking for the impossible, considering that we elect people like Carter, Clinton and Obama who, in turn, will appoint individuals to the USSC of their image and likeness.

You’ve got that right - Thursday will tell! It just may decide the direction of many lives also. Just think of the folks that find it incomprehensible that government could force you to take part in buying a product. Who would have thought that it was possible before Obamacare?

We are living in a new age where the Supreme Court has much less authority than it had previously. We have an Executive branch that seems to make up its own rules. We have a Justice department that not only makes its own rules but decides what laws it will enforce - regardless of those that are passed by Congress (you know, those that are actual laws).

So now, we have an Executive out of control, a Justice Department out of control, and the liberal Democrats backing him up... where have we gone wrong?

Now back this up with a stupid Supreme Court ruling on Obama care and you have a trifecta! Could things get any worse - doubt it!

Cause for another revolution - well, yeah!

The Fed have cut ties with AZ on illegals.

Every cartel member caught needs to be taken to a DNC and Hollywood celebrities home and dropped off with their weapons.

Give the liberals a taste of the guns and lawlessness they impose on us.

“If the Constitution does no prevail, I would expect an uprising.”

At that point, we are way past time for a constitutional convention...the same people who put this bastard in office would support changes to the constitution that are totally ‘un-American’. At that point it is time for 1776-II.

Well, how are we going to get the appointments to the Supreme Court that will do as you suggest? Certainly, one believed that C. Justice, John Roberts would be one such justice, but no, he went against the laws of this land and e ven went so far adrift as to allow illegal aliens to be able to work, another law broken!

Each of the justices that voted to strike down the AZ law, which mirrors U.S. law, need to be impeached but that would only give Obama a clear pathway to appoint 5 more Marxists to the court!

suggestions?

The Arizona Ruling by THE NINE SUPREMES (actually 8) has proven that we no longer have a US Constitution.

Hence, it is pointless to talk about a Court Dictate being anything but a dictate of the polarized Court.

We also have a Rogue Dictator, and a Rogue Obama-Rifles A.G. Leader.

Preference is not the issue. What the Court has already Dictated what will be is the issue.

The further destruction of the US Constitution is the most probable dictate that the Court will hand down, as this will be the last dictate of this past year, and hence they cowardly will release their worst dictate on their last day in session.

Since Obama”care” of ANY sort will financially destroy America, our options are limited to Congressional ABOLISHMENT of all of Obama”care,” or for we, the people, to begin the tedious process of convening peaceful State Constitutional Conventions, and splitting the former USA into multi-State Regions.

For almost 80 years we have been saddled with the failed Keynesian Economic System. It has bankrupted the US Federal Government.

The derivatives of the WW2 Wage and Price Control Dictates are as follows: Medicare, Medicaid, Romney”care” and Obama”care.”

All of these vote-buying gimmicks are funded by debt created by the failed Keynesian Economic System.

Currently this Debt is charged to those who cannot vote: our Grandchildren’s future descendants.

This Debt is the Federal Grandchildren Tax, or FGT, to distinguish it from the FIT, or Federal Income Tax, which only 51 % of us are required to pay.

The Silent Majority is silent no more.

There will be additional calls for State Constitutional Conventions if the Republicans try to preserve or retain ANY of Obama or Romney”care.”

Obama”care” is the Death Knell for America. It must be ABOLISHED FOREVER if America is to survive.

If Obama”care” does survive, then I favor Regional Areas of the former United States of America. I think the States that the XL Pipeline will run through makes excellent sense for one Region, called The Texas Region. The Mississippi Region would be those States that the Mississippi River runs through. Pacific and Atlantic Regions are obvious, as are the Rocky Mountain States.

In this way people could vote with their feet and move to a greater or lesser degree of personal Liberty.

The Great Experiment of forcing the United States of America back into the European Feudal System began with FDR’s Social Security System and will end with Obama”care.”

There is no need for armed conflict, as we have already tried that horrific method with our bloody Civil War.

Just peacefully hold State Constitutional Conventions, split up the former USA into multi State Regions, and then hold Fourth of July “Remember When Days” once a year, as we thank our lucky Stars that we in NO WAY are like Europe.

BTW, if we were a Nation of Laws, we could survive.

We, instead, have become a Nation of Lawyers, and thus survival is not possible.

Lawyers do not obey the laws, they just change their interpretation of the laws to suit themselves. “Remember the Arizona Law!” would make a nice State Constitutional Conventional poster.

During the State Constitutional Conventions and split up of the former USA, we need to designate a multi-State Region just for Lawyers. They could then Keynesian themselves to their hearts content.

The Region that I will choose will be based on “The Invisible Hand” of Samuel Adams’ Free Market, with NO safety net.

Agreed. The libs have only California, Oregon, and most of the northeast-their country could be called "New France".

Thanks.

Think it over, as it will take years to complete all of the State Constitutional Conventions.

Thus, we have time to plan to do it RIGHT, (pun intended), and throw the Liberal cartons of useless Tea millstones back into the Sea of European Feudalism/Socialism that they so richly deserve.

We must design our Multi-State Regions so that the disaster of RINO-morphing, and creeping Keyneism does not occur again.

Without the Check and Balance System the Republic will not survive, as has been proven by the efforts of RINO-Democrat-LiberalAgenda Media Triangle of Doom that we have today.

There is still hope if we can DUMP Romney by having the Delegates vote to ABSTAIN on the first Ballot in Tampa.

If Romney becomes the Nominee, Obama wins big in November, just like he did against Lame-Brain McCain in 2008, and it will be GAME ON Time in the former USA.

BTW, I’m dusting off my Tri-Cornered Hat, will dig out my copies of The Federalists Papers, and for Patriotic Flair, may even make a few quill pens!

Let us build a more perfect Union! Long live the Second Republic of TEXAS!

BTW, BTW, to the BIG BROTHER Lurkers: save your expensive Obamadrones for the continuous, and SCOTUS-approved, invasion of the Mexican Drug Lords into Southern Arizona.

We will be more peaceful than a GSA Convention in Las Vegas when we hold our many State Constitutional Conventions.

Y’all come by now, hear?

When illegals are ‘legally’ detained due to other prevailing law enforcement actions, and they are not able to prove citizenship, lock them up and put them to work doing labor work for the community - pay their way. Do this until ICE comes to get them. Rinse and repeat as necessary with hard labor.

Recall the US Debt display ( you can see it on Fox Business News). There for a while, there was a display of the number of soldiers killed and wounded in Iraq/Afghanastan.

Have Arizona start an “Illegals Released” display - one for each County, and one for the State. Every time an illegal is detained, and ICE says to release them, add one.

Estimate the healthcare costs, the education costs, etc., and per illegal, and display that as well.

Periodically, when it reaches a milestone (e.g., 100, 1000, 10000), issue a press release, have it displayed as part of the TV news.

The Outrage will accumulate.

Arizona should take a serious look at secession. When the government refuses to fulfill its responsibilities to secure the border, and it refuses to allow the state of Arizona to do the same, the federal government is threatening the state’s sovereignty, and every state has a right to survive.
