Time-Warner learning credibility is a precious, frail thing
In the wake of it's worst primetime month in 20 years, CNN is taking an ever harder hit to it's once-towering prestige... it's lowest-rated quarter in primetime since 1991(!)...
For Q2 2012 the floundering network scared-off viewers by the score as the vital 25-54 demographic crashed and all primetime programs posted steep declines. CNN averaged 446,000 total viewers and 129,000 in that all-important (to advertisers) 25-54 group in primetime. Compared to last year, thats down 35% and 41% respectively.
For purposes of comparison, for Q2 2012 Fox scored 1.79M viewers in primetime, down 1% as all TV networks face stiff competition from a booming new media.
As for other discredited Obammunist propaganda organs, MSNBC was down 13% in total primetime viewers and down 17% in the 25-54.
Even supposed flagship CNN shows had viewers running-away like the building was on fire: Wolf Blitzers The Situation Room, (4-6 PM Eastern), was down 42% in 25-54 and 26% in total viewers.
Inexplicably, that flailing show is now expanding to a full 3 hrs starting this Friday, as Blitzer attempts to fill the open hour following his slot left by the recent cancellation of John King's U.S.A., itself a ratings black-hole...

A little bit of free business advice for CNN and the other MSM's:
Try a little honesty in your reporting.
Make it worth while for people to watch and listen to your channel.
Useful, accurate INFORMATION is what people want.

I’ll one up you.
Sign a deal with Limbaugh, Beck or Palin for a prime time 2 hour slot.
Hell, simulcast the dittocam and their ratings would go up!

Good ending for a network started by a man who is one of the largest land owners in US and wants 95% reduction in world population .
Ends up with no viewers

One black hole devours another and the resultant black hole expands.

“The Science Fiction channel is merging with CNN”
It's a cute cartoon but, in reality The Science Fiction Channel would not want to jeopardize their credibility by merging with CNN.

CNN has been unwatchable for years. The junk they have on now makes Larry King’s senile ramblings look like the good old days. Their loud leftist stupidity is like fingernails on a blackboard to me. At least MSNBC has some entertainment value, like a trip to the monkey house.

They are so desperate they just lured Tony Bourdain and his globe-trotting cooking show away from The Travel Channel.
So much for the “news” in CNN.

Only people working at CNN are ones who can’t work any place else.

I can’t stand Anthony Bourdain. It’s like these fools keep drilling holes in the hull of a sinking ship, thinking that the rising water is going to run out.
