(I just saw an advert placed by a legal firm while riding a BART train that solicited employees to sue their employers, with the incentive being “free money” for a vacation to Cabo.)
Just an example of our litigious society. I wonder how these things would have worked out 75 years ago. We have become a nation of whiners and benefit addicts. My Grandfather for instance had a construction company and even during the depression, kept his employees on the payroll even though there was little work and some of that work did not pay as they went bankrupt. He did this up to the point of losing his last asset, his house, when he closed the doors. However, while he was a utopian employer, he would have burried a pick in the head of anyone who sued him over some alleged workplace issue.

Such an ad was illegal 75 yrs ago, morover it was considerd unprofessional and boarderline immoral. The culture has changed quite a bit in the generation or so that such ads have been legal.
