MSNBC's Wolffe Lumps Romney With John Edwards: 'Moral Questions' About Fitness For Office
NewsBusters ^ | Mark Finkelstein

Posted on 07/03/2012 4:37:45 PM PDT by governsleastgovernsbest

In one of the uglier MSM smears of the presidential campaign to date, MSNBC's Richard Wolffe has tried to tie Mitt Romney with one of America's most reviled men: John Edwards.

Appearing on Al Sharpton's MSNBC show this afternoon, Wolffe somehow suggested that Romney's decision to invest overseas and legally trim his federal tax bill was akin to Edwards reprehensible behavior. According to Wolffe, there is a "moral question" hanging over Romney, just as there was regarding Edwards.

Once again, when the LOSER RINO Mitt Romney should be
speaking out DEFENDING AMERICA, the coward is in hiding
being protected.

FAST AND FURIOUS - Romney protects Obama.
Supreme Court - Romney protects Obama.

Romney demands to be Protected because of BAIN.
Romney demands to be Protected because he is a Mormon.
Romney demands to be Protected becausehe is a coward.
Romney demands to be Protected because he invented death panels.

WHEN WILL ROMNEY EITHER SPEAK UP ... OR PULL OUT.

I wish I had a Swiss bank account. Anyways we should ask the DogEater-In-Chief about morality. Bring in Larry Sinclair as a backup witness. Besides tax avoidance is not illegal.

The state of politics in this country is so pathetic. I don’t know how people like Wolffe sleep at night while devoting themselves to such laughable dishonesty. How did we get to the point where these people are taken seriously?

If I was ever elected President, the first legislative effort I would push for is a Truth In Advertising Law for News Organizations.

An organization such as MSNBC would have to change their name to Communist Advocacy Propaganda Group Totally At The Beck And Call Of The Democrat Party.

So a guy who grew up in Indonesia eating dog meat, with communist parents, then spending 20 years in Rev Wright’s church, while palling around with Bill Ayers - is trying make Romney the “other.”

Romney is not going to pull out. Your delusions appear on almost every thread I read. If you wanted to keep Romney from becoming the nominee you should have worked harder during the Primary season.

The problem with us conservatives is we vet for total purity. When the race first started Newt was totally not an option until he was the only guy standing against Mitt. Everyone was split (Bachman, Palin, Perry, Cain etc.)on who was the most pure.Like it or not Romney is left standing. Vote for him, vote for Obama, vote for someone else or don't vote for anyone. Those are your options. Romney is the GOP nominee.

First, Mr. RomneyCARE cheated and changed rules nunc pro tunc
and used the media to STEAL (e.g. Iowa) what he presumes
will be the GOP nomination.

Mr. RomneyCARE is a backstabbing cheat.

Second, he is THE FIGUREHEAD of DEATH PANELS.

Mr. RomneyCARE should pull out and be A MAN for a change.

I wonder if there is a line that the average media moron (re-
porter, “journalist”, etc) will not cross in order to advance
liberal causes and liberal politicians. Personally, I have
always believed it is important to be as consistent as
possible in dealings with others. If what Romney does
with his own money is a big concern then why is it no
concern what John Kerry or some other wealthy Dem
does with his? Or, if what alledgedly happened to CIA
agent Plame’s “secret” cover was of momentous con-
cern then what of ATF agent Terry’s life? I guess I am
just another naive American.

“The problem with us conservatives is we vet for total purity”

We have a lot of problems, but the biggest one is that we allow the Commie media to pick our man, or at least tell us who is not qualified, or disqualified.

Thank, you, thank you, thank you!!!

Don't give up your day job as you and your fellow Paul Bots have yet to influence even a handful of TRUE Conservatives here who realize just what a threat to our Republic's Security and Survival Dear Leader poses and have yet, to show where Mitt is even a smidgen as dangerous as is Romney, but if you ever decide to simply quit demonizing him and Mormons, feel free to try...with DOCUMENTED sources, please!!!

I realize that there are a few thousand people that watch MSNBC. Conservatives are probably the biggest audience, kinda of like spying on the enemy.

I do that sometimes to see what DU is talking about.

If they wanted to stay afloat, they would not have people like the Rev.(sic) Al Sharpton as a host. I am not sure who Richard Wolffe is but he looks like a sissybitch.

In the old days, when the country was young, if you impugned someone’s honor, there would be a duel.

If that was true today, there wouldn’t be any liberals. They would hide behind their dresses and declare sex discrimination.

That is why liberal men look like sissies and liberal women look like rosie o’donnell.

U know who wears the panties and who wears the pants.

Blessings, Bobo

so you should rethink it, FRiend.

to ObamaCARE, to TARP, to Sharia, to Death Panels.

Please rethink your position.

I have many problems with Romney politically, but his personal conduct is above reproach, in contrast to John Edwards, who even disturbed John Kerry:

Edwards was also a liar long before he was a philanderer. When Senator John Kerry met with Edwards to tell him he would be his vice presidential nominee, Edwards explained his reasons for being in public office, and it was something he’d never told another human being: it was Wade’s death. Tears welled in Edwards’s eyes as he told Kerry how he’d climbed on to his dead son’s coffin and cried.

Kerry was disturbed, not by the image of Edwards clambering on his dead son’s coffin, but by the claim Edwards had never shared the story with anyone before — Kerry had heard the same story from Edwards two years earlier.
