Obama in a Big Hurry to Sign Oppressive UN 'Small Arms Treaty' (Next Month!)
Reaganite Republican ^ | Reaganite Republican

Posted on 07/05/2012 11:16:55 AM PDT by Reaganite Republican

Obama and Holder are enamored of it... Hillary Clinton commited us to it... all they need now is Dear Leader's signature/ratification by
Harry Reid's Senate and the US populace has forever forfeited a significant chunk of it's 2nd Amendment rights.

Specifically, what's all this mean?

If passed by the UN and ratified by the U.S. Senate, the
UN Small Arms Treaty will likely FORCE the U.S. to:

As the despicable Obama regime does all it can possibly imagine to restrict and intimidate us re. our 1st Amendment rights, we simply can't afford to lose our 2nd Amendment rights...
they're almost all we got between us and total tyranny now- not to mention poor AZ ranchers facing battalion-sized drug running gangs armed with AK-47's or worse right in their yard.

What to do?

1) Join the NRA, if you haven't already.. even if you currently do not own a firearm -here-

2) Call your Senator and say don't even think about it... -here-

What a crying shame patriots are forced to fight our own president just to preserve what were once 'inalienable rights'...

Obama in a Big Hurry to Sign Oppressive UN ‘Small Arms Treaty’ (Next Month!)

Well, that goes in line with him being an Oppressive doesn’t it?

Is this all part of his trying to destroy our right of self-defense “under the radar”?

The senate Donks and RINOs know damned well they’d be skinned in their next election if they signed off on this. It won’t happen— Barky can pledge to sign all he wants but his signature would be meaningless.

Ratification of this treaty would require approval by 67 Senators. The leftists will not get 67 Senators to approve this, either before or after November.

Thus Obama would be doing us a favor to sign this treaty now, thereby handing us another club with which to beat him in the run-up to November.

Dude is on crack and high as hell with all his victories by SCOTUS.

I don’t see him getting 2/3rds of the Senate for ratification.

SO IS THERE AN ACTUAL TIMELINE OR DATE CERTAIN FOR HUSSEIN TO ENGAGE THE SENATE?

WE HAVE BEEN HEARING ABOUT THIS FOR YEARS BUT THERE IS NO DATE CERTAIN I AM AWARE OF AND NONE INDICATED IN YOUR POSTING.

My concern is that Obama is going to circumvent the Senate altogether. He’s already circumvented Congress with EOs, and there’s absolutely no response from any lawmaker on any of his wrongdoings. Every chamber is silent on Obama’s usurpation of power.

I have little faith Obama will abide by any advice or consent (or lack thereof) from the higher chamber.

Better to go down with a pile of spent cartridge casings at your feet than to submit to one iota of this. This, I pledge.

Don’t be so sure it won’t pass — considering the many anti-American numbnuts we have in that place.

It is time to get become organized against the threat of confiscation. The Constitution not only allows for it, guarantees it, the right to be armed, the right to speak freely and associate, the right to defend personal safety and liberty. All gun organizations of any type including local, state, and national need to have all members be counted and united and pledge to stand together against any agency or group on American territory and soil anywhere that would attempt to confiscate individual arms. Such attempts by any agency or entity usurping our right to bare arms would be stopped cold by our God given right and legal authority under the Constitution as to prevent such confiscation by force of arms from all able bodied men standing together at the call ready to defend each and one another as whole nation of free men fighting oppression in common cause and pledging our lives, fortunes, honor, and tradition as free men.

If that bill is passed you will see a huge increase in the crime rate in this country.

You can bet that the Swiss and the Yemeni, where every male over 16 carries an AK-47, will never give up their guns and that the UN will never ask them to do so.

This is clearly a case where the UN is singling out the US to change its Constitution and they know that, with Obama as POTUS, the time has arrived to do so.

“Most treaties submitted to the Senate have received its advice and consent to ratification. During its first 200 years, the Senate approved more than 1,500 treaties and rejected only 21. A number of these, including the Treaty of Versailles, were rejected twice. Most often, the Senate has simply not voted on treaties that its leadership deemed not to have sufficient support within the Senate for approval, and in general these treaties have eventually been withdrawn. At least 85 treaties were eventually withdrawn because the Senate never took final action on them. Treaties may also remain in the Senate Foreign Relations Committee for extended periods, since treaties are not required to be resubmitted at the beginning of each new Congress. There have been instances in which treaties have lain dormant within the committee for years, even decades, without action being taken.” - taken from US Senate website:

http://www.senate.gov/artandhistory/history/common/briefing/Treaties.htm

For whatever its worth, the Senate ratified Obama’s 70% reduction in deployed nuclear warheads (2011, New START Treaty).

O will do what he usually does. Sign a UN agreement and if the senate objects, go the back door route and enforce it through his departments(that already control most everything)with EOs. A few examples of this are immigration, energy and environmental “concerns”.
