Have we no patriots in DC? Are all of our Representatives cowards?

I do not understand the mindset of a United States Congressman or Senator, of either Party, who would so publicly and readily not only abdicate their responsibility to follow the Constitution, but sit back and without a fight or so much as a show of false indignation, allow another branch of Government to usurp their powers and render them meaningless.

Out of 535 so-called representatives, the people that are supposed to hold up our founding documents to protect the citizenry they represent, not one of them had the stones, was enough of a Patriot, to stand up and proclaim that, “not having received any decision from the Supreme Court on the law the Congress sent them, no action would be taken on the bill until the next Court session, when the court will have a chance to further deliberate on the Bill, possibly rendering a decision.

In the meantime, if any Representatives in the House wishes to take up the theoretical posturing of Chief Justice John Roberts, and actually pass a Health-care bill funded by new taxes, I’m sure it will be given the attention it deserves. Happy Fourth of July and God Bless America.”

I’ve been railing about judicial activism for years. The last time I put it in writing was in 2008. Basic Constitution. Legislators Legislate. Judges Judge.

If the Speaker of the House or the Senate Majority Leader of Congress were to decide that Jerry Sandusky was innocent, because he wasn’t having sex, he was teaching Sex-ed, could they force their opinion on any Court? Would he be let free?

Conversely, we should not be enslaved by the deranged hallucinogenic meanderings of a wanna beloved politician, a judicial activist rewriting legislation to correct it’s inherent deficiencies, who is more worried about his legacy….

Question: "Have we no patriots in DC? Are all of our Representatives cowards?"

Answer: Probably not.

Comment: However, we know that they are lust ridden whether for boys or girls, greedy, liars, vain, drunks and druggies, gluttons, and swift to take bribes. They are foul degenerates.

The democrats have a weekly parade and use a megaphone to get their talking points across while Boneless and the rest of the GOP wimps huddle in the corner hoping not to get verbally spanked by the democrats.

If we had any patriots left, they would have asked for Obama’s birth certificate. That phoney has gotten away with it for 4 years now. He is going to run again and without showing he is elligible. He would not be allowed to do so if he did not claim to be black. If he was white, he would have been nailed to the wall by now.

If "Occam's Razor" was employed to explain the Republican's current behavior,
one would have to conclude that
the Democrats and Republicans are a single party with unified goals.

Not all. Most are just SLAVES to the material dimension. A dimension with a beginning and an END.

Matthew 10:28

Do not be afraid of those who kill the body but cannot kill the soul. Rather, be afraid of the One who can destroy both soul and body in hell.

Can you face reality? You WILL have to die in this physical realm. There is no choice in the matter.

You WILL have to spend ETERNITY somewhere.

Choose wisely. Choose LIFE!

I think the problem lays at the feet of those of us who let them convert (or pervert) the idea of citizen representatives. By that I mean by having these “representatives” receiving pensions, government entitlements like health care and the like, we have made them “employees” of a nebulous government. After a term or two they look at themeselves as careerists, not representatives. When that happens, out the window goes any concept of being a representative wherein the government is best that does the least.

When we hear some say we want to take back our government they are actually saying we want those bums up in DC who view themselves as rulers of the relm decrowned. George III made that mistake and if things don’t change soon, history will repeat.

I agree. Washington is really a symptom of an underlying disease in the body politic.

May I suggest the term “The Federal Fecal Finger Touch?”
