Every single one of [the 17 states that elected a tea party-supported governor in 2010] has seen its unemployment rate decline since January 2011. Three of them have had unemployment drop by more than 2% (Michigan, Florida, and Nevada). The average drop in the unemployment rate in these states was 1.35%. For a comparison, in January 2011 the U.S. national unemployment rate stood at 9.1%. It is currently 8.2%, meaning that the national unemployment rate has declined by just 0.9% since then. Based on these percentages, it can be said that the job market in states with new Republican governors is improving a full 50% faster than the job market nationally.

Someone PLEASE tell me that the Romney campaign is going to be all over this.
Yes. Gov Kasich in Ohio has devoted all efforts since 2010 to JOBS. He has lowered taxes on business and encouraged fracking (oil) for much economic growth.
Guess who came to Ohio last week in his Canadian manufactured busses taking all the credit?

When bad news hits DU just ignore it until it goes away.
Our company site manager, Brian, (equivalent to VP) is on a jobs board that Governor Rick Scott (Florida) set up. Brian said that the word from the other CEOs and VPs on the board is that if you can bring as few as 50 jobs to the state that Governor Scott will be on the phone to whomever he needs to call. Governor Scott, Brian says, will cut a deal right there on the phone.
I voted for Scott, but he wasnt my choice in the primary. I have to admit, though, Im impressed.
Oh, for all of you who are going to criticize Governor Scott for cutting tax deals, companies dont pay taxes. The taxes are an expense and are added into costs that are passed on to customers in higher prices.
Do you have a link to the DU thread?
Then what..... BHO will take the credit and the rest of the worshipers will bow and continue to vote this tu.d in..... Just sayin
Here you go..
