I had to cheat to find the answer but I had to. The Sun-Sentinel offered no clues as to which campaigns and which party were the beneficiaries of the illegal union contributions.

What kept me scratching my head was that the Sun-Sentinel reporters wrote that some of the funds went to political campaigns but made no mention of the political party of the recipients.

If you stayed informed by reading reputable newspapers, you would know the answer--of course, the recipients are those evil Republicans! Where's my prize?
