This is a follow up on my post on Virgil Goode and the impact he will have on the presidential race in Virginia.
Here are a breakdown of the electoral numbers from the 2004 and 2008 presidential elections and the PPP poll on Virginia released a few days ago:

So folks we see Bush 43 blowing Kerry out of the water among WHITE voters to the tune of 36% and McCain besting Obama by over 20 points albeit in a losing effort. But in a supposedly a much better political climate for Mitt Romney against supposedly an unpopular president Romney can only best Obama by a measly 10 points among white voters. Is there any wonder Romney is going to lose Virginia?
And then what compounds the problem is the Virgil Goode candidacy. Here is the allotment of the white vote in Virginia if he is included in the mix in the PPP poll:
Obama------------40%
Romney-----------44%
Goode------------10%
Gee folks, you think Goode must pose a huge problem for the Mittster, Friends I know many of you are not political junkies like I am but if you can take away one thing from this exercise it is that Mitt Romney will not win any state of the union, let alone an extremely important battleground state like Virginia when only 44% of white voters say they will vote for him on election day. It's time to take your heads out of the sand and realize that Romney is an extremely flawed candidate despite being only behind 2 points to Obama in the national polls.
We haven’t faced an Obama 2nd term these last 3 elections.

The cutoff was set just below the number Mitt claimed, but above the number his opponents claimed.
Their petitions were verified ~ one passed this Mittbot administered verification.

Frankly, all you people who support Mitt should think about that ~ this is possibly the deal maker in the election and for MItt it was just another place to show his tailbone. The man has no sense. You go around messing with the people in THE BATTLEGROUND STATE they'll bite back!
I’m afraid GOD had nothing to do with that choice, but there is a ‘god’ who did ~ he chose both Romney and Obama. He’s not really a god but he likes to pretend he’s a god.

My goal is to wake people up to dump the liberal at the Republican Convention. That is our only chance to save America!!!!! That is the bottom line. The problem with the Romney fans is that they have decided to settle AGAIN for a less than conservative candidate. We are ALL going to lose come November no matter who wins unless something good comes at the convention.
I would LOVE to see Mittens dumped at the convention. Sadly, the odds of that are about the same as Goode getting more than 2% of the vote.
So if that doesn’t happen, well, I for one can’t see Romney being as bad as obastard. Bad? Yup. But nowhere near as bad as obastard. To be blunt, if obastard wins, this nation is dead, enslaved, or in a true Civil War. All those options suck.
Sure you are. By voting for Goode and allowing Obama to win Virginia you are doing just that. Everyone including you knows you are just kidding yourself.
By the way, I’ll eat my hat if Virgil Goode gets 10% of the vote in Virginia. Let’s think about this. There are 11 congressional districts which means his former district encompasses roughly less than 10% of the vote. So he’d have to take the lion’s share of his district (more than unlikely) and a decent chunk of other districts, say 4-5% where few would know him. It’s bunk.
If Virgil Goode is constitution party then he should have been running for congress as that, not as a Republican.
