I know Romney's not a hit with Freepers. Truth be told he was FAR from my first pick as well. BUT...

I refuse to be bullied into voting for a candidate that is not a real conservative.

That is all.

You’re just stirring the broad masses to show up with pitchforks and torches.

A vote against Obammy IS THE ONLY reason to vote for Romney. There are no other reasons. None what-so-ever.

It's a point that needs to be hammered home.

I'm no fan of Romney but the alternative is unthinkable. Our country is nearly gone. Four more years of this crap and it will be completely unrecognizable.

I am really P.O'd about the treatment of Sarah Palin but I think they will relent and let her attend the convention, even be a speaker. The GOP has too much to lose not to recognize her influence.

4 years of Obama or 8 years of Romney .... pretty much a wash to me.

So, since the GOP has decided that they neither want nor desire conservatives like me. I’m voting Constitution party at the top of the ticket. Maybe the GOP will see enough conservatives NOT support the party ticket that they will change their tune next time around.

I won't vote for 0. Fear tactics and witty remarks won't get me to vote for his albino twin either.

I compromised my values in 08 for mcCain't because of Palin. We were knifed in the back by the GOP-E and left feeling like an immoral $2 whore. Never again. Why vote for the (R) candidate if the GOP-E won't listen to the base? They have no incentive to change.

As for the fear tactic........creditors may call and harass you. Declare bankruptcy and start over. The swamp has been morally bankrupt for quite some time now; it's time to flush the negative equity and start over. Or get on an effective CONSERVATIVE management plan, like today - hint, it isn't romney.

Some people may look at me and wonder why choose this hill to die on...........well, it's my damn hill.

Somebody needs to remind these guys that if you vote for a non-Conservative you can't be a real Conservative.

Neither one of these guys is a Conservative.

Nothing says “Dem win” like a Clintonian plurality

Both candidates are avowed Progressives. It doesn’t matter which one you vote for because the destination is the same.

Is it also true that “Any Vote That Isn’t For Obama Is Effectively A Vote For Romney”? If not, why the difference?

Romney isn’t a hit with FReepers because he is a liberal. Those voting for him are voting for a liberal. Yes or no?

I believe the territory will be a lot more navigable and friendly for a third party with Romney as president.

America back to work with money in their pockets can do a WHOLE lott'a somethin' good and better.

Vote Against the worst candidate.

That is what you should do, in every election.

Obama is the WORST candidate, and a vote for anyone other than Romney is a vote for Obama.

Agreed. I’m not really sure why many, including people on this thread believe a President Romney will produce the same result as an Obama 2nd term...really?

I’m befuddled.

It’s MY vote. I’m not wasting it on a person with no principles whatsoever. I held my nose for McCain. That was the LAST time!!
