Coincidentally, I posted it a few hours before all the news about the Aurora massacre hit the fan. I thought this well done 10 minute video had some very pertinent info that could be used to help educate non-gunners on the issues.

Now that the gun control gang is gearing up for a new offensive, I thought that it might be helpful to someone out there.

You can’t control what is out of control. There are millions of guns and billions of ammunition in the US. It’s ludicrous to think that government can come in now and say “we need gun control” - there are more illegal guns out on the streets than can be controlled. The government wants to control those guns that are in the hands of law abiding citizens. They can’t get guns off the streets. They should start with Chicago or NYC first. Get those illegal guns first. Then come back and say they’re in control of the gun issue.

Speaking of Chicago. Do a keyword search on Chicago and look at the murders being committed. As we all know, violent crime is out of control wherever there is a democrat stronghold.

If you want to reduce gun crimes, then let's have gun control for Obama supporters. Hey, there the ones who are doing the crimes and filling up the jails and prisons (if, of course they're ever arrested, prosecuted and convicted.) And I didn't even address Fast and Furious!!!!!!!!!!

What are “illegal guns”?

Guns that have been stolen from legal owners and are in the possession of those that are banned from owning guns.

Then use the term "stolen guns". The guns themselves are legal. If someone is caught with a stolen gun that legal gun should be returned to it's legitimate owner. I'm not trying to argue semantics, I'm arguing that the mindset of the big city officials is to not worry about getting the law abiding citizen his property back but to get the gun off the street.

A former Republican city councilwoman in my city said it the best and most simply I've ever heard: "They thrive on chaos". Never forgot that line.

The reality is, they like the carnage, because they can perpetually claim to be the savior who will fix it, and they can demagogue guns and gun owners. "It's their fault, not mine."

Like the education system and money, they have no incentive to fix anything, because if they did, they wouldn't need more money, would they?

Gun control is dangerous. It's a government form of tryanny to take away the self-defense of its citizens. The bad guys will always carry guns, no matter what the law.
