If Liberals Keep Complaining About Chick-Fil-A...
The Looking Spoon ^ | 7-25-12 | The Looking Spoon

I'm going to turn into a real fatty...

I tend to stay out of this fight because I don't see much value in having it if people are choosing a more secular world view. The fight for "traditional values" should start with tackling why people are choosing not to have faith anymore.

That said, support or opposition to gay marriage is beside the point here. People running a business are entitle to their opinion, and it shouldn't have to agree with your own...

If you don't want them to have your money, that's totally fine! Don't patronize their business, but this boycott and political bullying nonsense is just too much for me.

Just stay out of Boston. They can eat the feathers and wonder where all the tourists went.

You don't seem to understand liberals.

The more the haters hate, the more their business will go through the roof.

If support of traditional families makes you anti-homosexual, doesn’t it follow support for homosexuals make you anti-traditional family?

This behavior just manages to highlight what kinds of people the LGBT and the people who support them are made of. They have never been satisfied with having the right to practice their perversions in private or to have legal unions. Nothing less than blasepheming the sanctuaries of houses of worship and parading their filth before people who are believers in God’s word will do for them.

The owners of Chic Fil A have never, in any way, refused to serve gays. What they have refused to do is bow to Baal and opine that they are “ok”. I want that list of businesses that have the bravery and Christian principles to stand up against what is wrong. God’s Word admonishes us not to wish evildoers well lest we become partakers in their iniquity. Somehow I don’t think silence and “going along to get along” is going to be acceptable in this case, especially if it’s for profit.

Blasephemy and offense to the Holy Spirit is interpreted to be the only unforgivable sin. All I know is that the sight of these people flaunting their perversion offends all that is Holy and the Christ that lives in me.

I would sacrifice much to patronize only businesses that uphold traditional marriage like Chic Fil A. I only hope I have plenty of company.

Came home from work tonight and asked my older son if he wanted to go out to Chic fil a for dinner. We just had a new one open not far from our house. We enjoyed dinner with no worries about what they believe in. It is good food, service and great atmosphere. Boston’s the losers!

I’ve never been to a Chick-Fil-A restuarant. However, if they ever decide to come north of the ASSachusetts border, I’ll be happy to support them.

I had my first visit to a CFA today. I let the franchise owner know that the reason I was there to support them against all the crap they're getting. It was quite good. Their lemonade is fresh squeezed, and AWESOME!

Wow! The Looking Spoon talks! It’s like having a conversation with that Teller guy from Penn & Teller.

J/K. I like most of your work. This is not an argument about gay marriage, it’s an argument about whether a businessman (or anybody else for that matter) has the right to have an opinion at all.

I’m shuddering to think what this forced ideology is going to mean for our churches(those that haven’t caved) and our schools. May God bless the Cathys and Chic Fil A! And you and yours.

How does Chick-fil-A compare to KFC?

I think it’s like comparing apples to oranges, even though it’s actually comparing chicken to chicken...:-)

Just order their Chicken sandwich and fries meal, it’s really good.

Their sandwiches taste similar to the southwestern chicken sandwich from McDonald’s which is a direct rip off IMO.

What’s the singular most dangerous threat to America today? Secular liberalism! These soulless progressives work tirelessly to mold a lazy, violent, and immoral nation, yet they expect Christians…aka the ownership of Chick-fil-A…to abandon their beliefs in lieu of a soulless agenda. Sorry, but true Christians should never abandon their ideals, regardless of era or public opinion. I do not, and will not, ever subscribe to culture relativism. Right and wrong – morality – is immune to time, place or personal preference. Throw in the fact that Boston mayor Thomas Menino told Chick-fil-A to stay out of Boston, and you once again witness the true face of liberalism: hateful, intolerant, discriminatory.

It is utterly ridiculous, insulting, that an elected politician would threaten an individual or a business – violate their Constitutional rights – because he or she did not agree with their opinion. Likewise, when was gay marriage ever synonymous with Judeo-Christian values, the basis for the founding of America? Unless I stand corrected, Obama himself, the radical left’s messiah, ran on an anti-gay marriage platform in 2008. Yet, these same hypocrites…like Thomas Menino and Chicago Overlord Emanuel Rahm…somehow still found it in their hearts to vote for a man who supported a position that is now supposedly so offensive. If a private citizen voices their opposition to a business or an opinion, that’s one thing, but when an elected official violates a business’ Constitutional right to speak its mind, to make a living without undue prejudice, that’s entirely unacceptable and a true example of discrimination. I have no ill will towards gays, not at all; I simply choose to honor the sanctity of marriage. And yet it is radical progressives, guided by their compassionate and altruistic creed, who will conspire to strip of us of our rights and even threaten us with death itself. Now who’s the barbarian?

This war against everything America stands for – free enterprise, faith, accountability, community – will not cease until we stand up for what is right; for the ideals that made this country a beacon of hope and strength across the globe. If you love life, family, freedom, and a morally conscientious nation, stand beside Chick-fil-A and let it be known that your values, your children’s future, the country you swore to defend, are non-negotiable!

the family went there for dinner tonight

had that peach shake too!!!

AWESOME!!!

there were a bunch of folks in suits wearing name tags at a table close to us.....they were employees having a meeting..

I went over and interrupted to thank them for there stand on values and told them that this is why we were there today for dinner....

they literally got up out of their chairs and thanked me....shaking my hand...

I am so thrilled I got to give them my support with my money and in person, face to face....

Looking at their menu, it looks like all of their chicken comes from the breast portion of the chicken. We do not have Chick-fil-A within 500 miles of here and I never heard of them. I was hoping for whole pieces of chicken like KFC. I know it takes great technique to do chicken breast perfectly.

I hope Chick-fil-A gets a huge jump in activity from the publicity.
