The first story on ABC’s World “News” Tonight was about Romney offending the over-sensitive Brits by saying “They’re Not Ready.” The British had a hissy fit and so did ABC. Who cares.
Will we care? Of course not. But many Americans will, especially those he is trying to persuade. Here was yet another big chance for Romney to make his mark, this time on foreign policy. And, yet again, he comes away looking like a drooling, feckless buffoon.
This nomination foisted upon us is an unmitigated disaster. I say again ... a disaster. He is going to hurt down ticket races. I can not emphasize enough what a disaster he is. And as bad as Hussein is, it changes nothing about the fool that is Romney.
How on Earth could he screw this up? But I find that I say this weekly about this moron.

It is rude to walk into another country and criticise their organisation. If David Cameron did it in America, you’d pillory him as being a pompous Euro-Limey.
Has any British politician ever criticised the 1996 games, which frankly only gets remembered for a bomb and an innocent man being hung out to dry?.

Sorry, but if our PM did what he did, Americans would consider it rude and pompous, another Limey/Euro bashing America. It is simply rude to arrive in the UK (or any country) and criticise a host and even the British people as he did. Romney wasnt offensive per se, just came across as a touch arrogant and patronising.
And given the debacle of 1996, any American would be well advised to keep Olympic doubts quiet......
If Romney has doubts, he should have kept them to himself. He btw also managed to publicly mention a secret MI6 meeting he had, couldnt remember the name of the Labour leader and used the word backside (which is British for bottom) to describe Downing Street.
Not good form I am afraid. I want Romney to win, but he hs looked like a bumbling novice this week.
Nobody cares about this but the media and leftists looking to burn news cycles to avoid obamas disastrous record.
