Now Newsweek Is Calling Romney A Wimp. Projection Much?
The Looking Spoon ^ | 7-30-12 | The Looking Spoon

I can't think of any other liberal rag so desperate for attention (and getting it) than Newsweek...now they're calling Mitt Romney a wimp...really? Why on earth did they want to go there?

I don't even have to manufacture a concept like I did here and here...I just have to insert real pictures, and it's a more realistic cover than anything the left can throw at Romney.

LOL, you are making things up.

Witnesses saw it, and Mitt refused to deny doing it.

The sister just didn’t know about the incident, as she says and the family just doesn’t like the way the victim is portrayed.

“Christine Lauber, who is a few years older than John Lauber, was at college when the alleged incident happened, and said the brother and sister were “doing our own thing” at the time.
When ABC News showed her the story, Christine Lauber’s eyes welled up with tears and she became agitated.
She described her brother as a “very unusual person.”
“He didn’t care about running with the peer group,” Christine Lauber said. “What’s wrong with that?”
Betsy Lauber, one of John Lauber’s three sisters, spoke with ABC News Tuesday night regarding the accuracy of the story.
“The family of John Lauber is releasing a statement saying the portrayal of John is factually incorrect and we are aggrieved that he would be used to further a political agenda. There will be no more comments from the family,” she said.
She did not say specifically how the Washington Post story was incorrect.
Romney has since apologized for what he said were “pranks” in high school but has said he doesn’t remember the specific event.”

It isn’t gossip, it is something shameful that Romney did when he outnumbered an effeminate classmate.

It's gossip without proof.

Where's your proof?

Besides gossip, I mean.

You old washer-woman you.

The proof is the witnesses, one witness was Mitt Romney who could not deny it knowing that the other witnesses existed.

“Romney has since apologized for what he said were “pranks” in high school but has said he doesn’t remember the specific event.”

If he didn’t do it, he would be outraged and deny it without reservation.

How wimpy is the guy who mocked anti-war students and protested THEM yet evaded the draft himself saying that he had no intention of serving, “I was not planning on signing up for the military.”“It was not my desire to go off and serve in Vietnam”?

Here is why Mitt was incapable of taking on that boy by himself.
“Despite the school’s rarefied air, it was still a high school, so the jocks tended to be the most popular. Mitt’s singular distinction as an athlete was an embarrassing one, classmates recall. He competed in a 2.5-mile race held during a football game, setting off with the rest of the runners at the start of halftime.

Everyone returned before the second half of the football game began, except Mitt. He didn’t resurface until about 10 minutes after the last runner. He staggered around the oval for the final lap, collapsing twice in the last 15 yards but drawing cheers from the crowd when he finally crossed the finish line. “It had to be one of those moments that made you feel good, but inadequate,” Bailey says. “But those kinds of things didn’t bother him.”

Spreading more gossip, I see.

Shame your not interested in the actual documented treasonous acts of Ubama and would rather spend your time in mental masturbation about gossip about Rodney.

Your attack is 50-year old unsubstantiated gossip.

You're doing him more good than harm.

Keep it up!

It is a story that Mitt Romney pretty much confessed to and apologized for, you know the draft evading Romney, the prowar/antiwar hypocrite.

So "I don't remember that" is an apology in the world of washer-women gossips gossiping about things that happened fifty years ago from fourth-hand hearsay?

That's about as gay as it gets.

You should talk to your doctor about getting some testosterone supplements. Otherwise you are just going to keep humiliating yourself.

You don’t appear to have anything grown up to say.

This childish personal stuff is very fitting from someone supporting Romney, in his years of running no one has ever been able to effectively defend him.

The event was witnessed and the leader who organized the attack has already apologized for it in his best Bill Clinton manner.

By the way, I notice you don’t have any real defenses of Mitt and his wimpishness which is the thread subject, if you remember, this bullying incident was brought up as a defense that he was not a wimp.

The bigger point is the progressive liberal media went all out with the bully story on just about every type of media outlet. They declared him a bully amidst the family denials. The internet bastions of the left posted about it for weeks. Now the narrative is completely polar opposite; that he is a wimp. The truth is a foreign object to the media and this is par for the course. The problem is that we all tend to underestimate the media power as it still exists in determining the narrative of a campaign. They will keep trying until something “seems” to stick. Whether any part of whatever narrative is true, the duplicity and the hypocrisy here is stunning. Bob Shieffer was so elated at this new “narrative” that he could hardly contain his obvious glee on Face the Nation. So set aside the fiction of it all and understand the media motive.
