The Chick Fil A in Manassas Virginia (South on Prince William Parkway) was packed with hundreds of cars circulating through the nearby shopping centers IN LINE.

At 8:30 it was the same at the Chick Fil A in Springfield Virginia ~ PLUS ~ and understand this restaurant is not rated Halal ~ there were hundreds of Moslems, on foot, standing around the shopping center waiting for Sundown (it's Ramadan) so they could go in and eat.

They do handle their bacon separately so I guess none of these guys will go to hades just yet, but they were, by their standards, taking a risk with their souls to make a statement that they are FOR heterosexual marriage AND chicken sandwiches.

They must be shattering all kinds of records.

Wonder if Burger King, McD's, Wendy's, et al....are going to follow suit soon and come out against gay marriage. It seems to be really good for business!

Oh, Lord, there goes the waist line. :-)

On a side note - the Ramsey Street location in Fayetteville, NC was out of all kinds of fries by 6:30PM. We settled for fruit cups as a side and were content. Sandwiches were great - as usual.

We'll go back for lunch on Friday just to see whats up.

I went to Town Center Mall in Boca Raton at 6:15pm tonight. The Chick-Fil-A was in the food court in the center. There were at least 50 people ahead of me and it took about 25 minutes to get to the front of the line. The line was lot longer after I finished eating than before I got there. One thing that was interesting was how many African-Americans were in line; clearly the gay marriage issue is hurting Obama with them. I was actually surprised about the turnout in Boca. After all, this is Palm Beach County, Democrat territory.

A customer just received his food order at 9:30 pm. He called his chicken sandwich “The taste of liberty.”

Waited over an hour in the drive thru here in IL, outside of Chicago. Was told be an officer and 2 of the workers that it had been that way since 10am today!

And yes, alot of families, older folks and many many blacks.

It gave me some faith in humanity today :)

Not surprising because the founder of Wendy’s Thomas was a Christian.

That's good to hear about the Wendy's franchiser.

Anyone know the status of In n Out Burger on this issue..?

from Wiki:

"In-N-Out prints discreet references to Bible verses on their paper containers. These consist of the book, chapter, and number of the verse, not the text of the passage, in small print on an inconspicuous area of the item. The practice began in the 1980s during Rich Snyder's presidency,[32] a reflection of the Christian beliefs held by the Snyder family..."

Both of these restaurant chains enjoy steady business and have uncommonly loyal customers.

I’ll wager the fleet of CFA semis are crisscrossing the American interstates tonight. Funny. Looks like the left inadvertently created some jobs, just like they did with gun manufacturers.

That’s what I was just thinking!

My wife tried to take the kids to dinner there tonight but the line was too long. I told her she should go back tomorrow.

STILL PACKED when we went in Columbia, Maryland at 9:30! It was awesome. Prob 30 people ahead of us line inside...the drive-thru line was around the building.

You could feel the positive energy. Truly glad I went. Just felt so......part of a blessing.

Only one CFA in NY state, and it is on the other side of the state, unfortunately. Erie is the closest one to me, but still a couple of hours to get there. I was thinking of calling to see if they'd mail some food to me, but they probably don't take CC's over the phone.

I just posted something similar on another thread so please forgive me, but we need a plan for Friday and you and I are in the same boat. I could not go to a CFA today because they are not in my state, and not feasible for me to drive to/from the nearest. That said, this Friday we should find a way to relieve everyone going from close, and present a huge number of phone orders to be delivered to Senior centers, day care centers, hospitals, etc. We have 24 hours to figure out a huge plan for all of us “out of state-rs” to particulate and support all the workers and the communities that open doors to CFA and other companies that support their residents. I am too far to have an impact, I think we should figure out how to support CFA, their towns and cities, and not create traffic jams or huge lines, or anything of the kind. Yet sales are through the roof... we can do it! I just don't know how???? I think it's a great idea, any big minded highly organized people out there who might want to run with something like this? It would be a huge success, lots of us out here from out of state who would love to show our support. Give us a shot to help!!! Somehow I feel I speak for many, we won't let all of you in like today, and tomorrow down! I just know it!!!
