Not all of them are as you describe. Only a very vociferous minority.

Just as liberal hate speech is not going to win any converts, conservative hate speech will not either.

Following the example of Mr. Cathy and standing on the Biblical principles of marriage is the way to go, IMO. Name calling and painting everyone with the same broad brush is not.

Jesus’s message was one of love and forgiveness. His Gospel was a message to the least, the last, and the lost.

I would do as you suggest, except I'm not in the mood to get mercilessly zotted today (regarding the first part of my post).

Just as I did during the GOP primary, I'm about to take a haitus from FR. The group think, rudeness, and crudeness are going way beyond the pale. Last night, I actually read (paraphrasing) "if you don't think gays are the personification of Satan himself, you're not a Christian". How's that for showing Christian love and forgiveness? It may be that only a few percent are vociferous and vile in public. All are vile in private.

I would contend that only a few percent at the other end of the curve are amenable to Real Conversion in any ordinary circumstances (not counting the very Last Days).

I'm sure God would commend you for going after the group in the middle of the curve. I'm not up to that.
