A recent five minute speech by U.S. Congressman Mike Kelly (R-Pennsylvania) has been getting a lot of attention. He talks about the red tape that the government uses to strangle businesses...

I’m sorry, but your posting was a quarter of an inch too long.
I’m sorry, but your posting has to be offered in multiple languages, including Spanish and ASL. You also need to certify here, here, and here that your posting was not tested on animals. We’ll also need to see a copy of the contract to ensure that your post was entered by a union typist. We also have not yet received your plan for reducing your carbon footprint by shortening your posts, pixels aren’t free you know! Also, please certify on the enclosed form where you have not only reduced your posts, but re-used old posts, and recycled others’ posts.
Convince me that you do not want to encourage hits to the blog by excerpting it to less than a complete sentence.
If the blog’s so hot, then post it.
It is pretty awesome!
This Government”Meddling”is a PERFECT ISSUE that should be SEIZED by ROMNEY!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
I am not a good citizen. I only recycle my own post.
Al Gore Forgive me.
Talk about useless and pointless regulations.
Why should public bathrooms even be required to have mirrors let alone determine the height at which they are hung?
Also: you did not employ an appropriate number of disabled persons in an integrated setting in the production and posting of your post, your boiler had not passed inspection before the post was entered, your post was not pasteurized by being heated to 145 degrees for 30 minutes or 280 degrees for 2 seconds before you put it up, also, you have failed to prove that the flush toilet that you use during your breaks uses 1.6 US gallons of water per flush or less. Disgraceful.
At least we’re not in Canada, where it would have to be in both English and French.

The entire video is worth watching, but my favorite part begins
at 2:23. A government bureaucrat forces 1,500 fans to miss a
baseball game because the mirrors in the men’s bathroom are
one quarter inch too low.
Was the park even opened for the game to be able to be played?????????????????????/
Fantastic Video, thank you!
We need more people like U.S. Congressman Mike Kelly (R-Pennsylvania)
That post probably wasn’t dolphin-friendly nor solar powered. The author obviously didn’t celebrate and promote diversity since he only used one typeface, no bold, no italics, no alternative fonts nor sizes. The poster probably was drinking coffee that didn’t come from a place that supports social justice and fair trade.
As a disabled veteran who uses a wheelchair, I have dealt with the good, bad and ugly parts of the ADA. It's obviously written by a lawyer with too much time on his hands.
Did you know that none of the VA hospitals are required to abide by the ADA? Just one of the many screw ups contained in this government monster.
The OSHA idiot told my boss that if the window didn't open the store couldn't open. My boss grabbed a ball peen hammer and knocked all the glass out, turned to the inspector and said, "does the damned thing have to close too"?
We were open for business the next morning.
No, I was not aware of that. But I am not surprised by it, either. Government often exempts itself from its own laws. For 45 years after Social Security was created, federal employees were exempted from paying the social security tax.
