A quibble:

It doesn't take much to look at a post and see who originated it. While the link you provide is laudable, the incomparable and, in my summation, American Poet Laureate, Gerard Van der Leun posted this originally at his stellar, must-read website, American Digest.

From the comments section of same:

“Or maybe they were working on a new kind of edible marijuana.

Step 1- feed pot to pig.
Step 2- Imagine getting stoned on bacon.”

LOL!

I agree with your admiration of Gerard vander Leun. I linked to his site in several of my posts today because he not only writes a great essay, but he provides links and posts videos and pictures from other sites. It's what bloggers do.

The reason I linked to my blog initially is because I link to a lot of people who are great such as Gerard and Richard Fernandez at Belmont Club. I blog for my own small audience and if I think there is something that Freepers may enjoy, I come here and post it. If you don't think what I post is worthwhile you should skip mine because I usually link to my blog. That's why I post under "bloggers and personal."

By the way, I did a little sleuthing and found out that this video was posted on YouTube on May 13, 2011, so much as I admire Gerard, he got it from someone else.
