The current state of affairs can be summarized in the article linked below. Basically, the Obama/Hillary plan is a failure. But we have come to expect that from them. Syria should have been handled in the beginning just like Iraq was handled. Unfortunately our progressive leadership certainly could not replicate the GWB plan, because they all claimed it was a failure. Yes, the back end of the GWB plan was complicated by the unexpected insurgency. The front end however, was correct and worked like a charm. With Obama/Hillary, their front end is so bad that their back end could only end up looking like the abyss. We should either stand down or bring the A-game. The latter is what the RINO's plan on doing. And good luck with that. Syria is Iraq with all of Saddam's WMD's still intact.

Syria can be viewed in two ways:

1) Keep Assad in power - he's a known quantity and somehow...stable.
2) Oust Assad and take whatever comes next - Islamic Jihad operating on the Turkish, Iraqi, Jordanian and Israeli borders.

I can just see it now. Israel will be asked to perform some sort of “goodwill gesture” to the Jihadis in the Golan Heights as they were forced to do time and time again with the PLO (now called the Palestinian Authority - PA). Good old Mad Albright was behind that mess and Shrillary Clintoon is furthering her disasterous policies began in the early 1990’s.

Oh woe is us if this dynamic duo are reelected. A word of advice to the Israelis: Dig your bomb shelters even deeper if BHO is reelected.
