First a little bit about CBO: I work with them every single day; very good people; great professionals. They do their jobs well. But their job is to score what is placed in front of them. And what has been placed in front of them is a bill that is fill of gimmicks and smoke and mirrors.
Now what do I mean when I say that?
First off, the bill has ten years of tax increases and ten years of Medicare cuts to pay for six years of spending. The true ten year cost when subsidies kick-in? $2.3 trillion.
The bill is full of gimmicks that more than erase the false claim of deficit reduction:

Yeah that left obumbles speechless.
Ryan’s got his s*** together.
Obama makes it up as he goes along. Just like “you didn’t build that.”
Little known fact: Clinton was a policy wonk. Obumbles don’t care about
specifics....outsourced his STIMULUS bill to David Obey , House member
retired and Obamacare was writeen in the back halls.
Obumbles can’t focus too much. He bluffs his A** off.
But now he is in trouble. The grownups are coming in.
Where’s Obama’s plan? HA HA HA HA HA
Obama you gonna get PUNKED.

Wolf Blitzer licking his chops right now saying Obama is gonna hammer Ryan’s Budget. Romney/Ryan can say, “Okay, where’s your budget?”
Democrats DO NOT want this fight! Trust me! Obama’s best path to victory is to continue to muck this up with Bain garbage. If this gets into fiscal policy, he is TOAST!

In my opinion, the way you silence them on Bain is to bury them in facts related to it.
Michael Ramirez goes a long way toward that in this political cartoon. It lists Romney’s actions vs Obama’s.
Lots of people are going to recognize those companies, and give Romney’s team credit for making them successful at some point. Very nice.

Obama himself (or the white hut anyways) has offered up budgets.. They go down in flames when voted on. It’s about the only thing Obama has put his name on that has had bipartisan support.

Yowza, I’m good with that, but what makes me tingle is the thought of watching Ryan and Biden in the VP debate.
I don’t care who you are, that right there will be worth listening to any amount of libturd moderator silliness just to see Ryan stick a shiv in Joe’s “Jobs is a 3-letter word” ribs.
Yeah baby, let’s do this!

Ryan as Romney's pick would be VERY good news. I believe he's the one that scares Obama (and the his sycophants) the most--Ryan runs CIRCLES around the Kenyan baffoon in every way imaginable...and the Teleprompted Tinyhead knows it. Obama HATES Ryan for it. I mean HATES.
Ryan will completely rattle and take it directly to the skinny, gutless, know-nothing puppet...regarding everything that really MATTERS to Americans...just you watch.
Ryan won't back down and won't stoop down and I believe that...
RYAN IS READY TO RUMBLE.

Unfortunately, this is a great choice for Mittens. Rubio will be to Romney what Palin was to McCain. It’ll shore up the base, and even distract and confuse the hell out of conservatives as he moves further left in the general election. It’s having your cake and eating it too, basically. I was hoping Mittens would pick a RINO so conservatives would have to sell their souls totally to make that vote. Now, they can point to Ryan and fantasize that he’s the POTUS even as they serve the GOPe.

I’m excited about him, but I am worried also. This is likely THE GUY Obama WANTED to face.
He will scare seniors about Medicare etc. and just be a real problem there UNLESS it can successfully defeated and the conversation turned to the economy. I think he’s up to it, but frick, it’s going to be hard.

I dont think Biden is going anywhere. In my opinion an indicator of how the polling really looks (internal polling) will be whether Biden stays or not. If Obama keeps Biden then he is feeling confident. If he doesn't, then he knows he is in trouble and needs to shake things up.
If Biden stays on I would be surprised. He doesn't add anything to the ticket and I do think that the internals are not looking good for Obama, which is why he is going so hard after Romney. I would be equally surprised though if Hillary replaces Biden. She's already been part of the administration, thus part of the problem. What difference would it make if she were VP? Obama would need to bring in more of an outsider. A Latino would be my guess.

I love this video. I was just mentioning this in another thread... Notice near the end Obama’s juvenile middle finger boredom pose. This VP pick should not only make Biden need Depends, but it’s GOT to have rocked Obama as well. Ryan knows his stuff - probably better than any others in DC, and he’s able to speak without a teleprompter, too! ;)

And Paul Ryan was the ONLY one to take it to 0bama on the House floor over 2 years ago on healthcare. The only one to challenge him face to face. If he is to be the VP nominee, great choice. But I’d also be pleased if it were Bobby Jindal. But he could be HHS Secretary and I’d be satisfied. And while I love Rubio and Allen West, they need to serve out their first terms, grow in those offices and take leadership positions going forward. We’ve got a strong bench and it can only get better.
