To be fair, it was pretty complicated.

"I come to America for opportunity. Now I am denied opportunity to vote. I do not understand your system of government.”

Yes, you understand perfectly. Just as in the country you came from, you must be a legal citizen in order to legally vote.

Jocelyn Benson, former Democratic candidate for secretary of state and now Director of the Michigan Center for Election Law chastised the Secretary of State’s office for what she said was “an attempt to discourage people from voting. The fear that non-citizens are illegally attempting to vote is unwarranted."

Which lie to dismantle first? Discouraging mere "people" from voting is the point; encouraging citizen people to vote is a corollary to this point. The fear that non-citizens are illegally attempting to vote is warranted and completely suspect once this "Democratic" pretender to the throne of public outrage starts whining.

Huh?

Is this anything like, after yiu swipe your card, the machine asks, "Is $23.56 OK?"

Or do you mean, like ... Am I now or ever WILL be ?

I'm confused.
