Suspected Family Research Council shooter is LGBT center volunteer (Naturally)

The suspected shooter in the Family Research Council office earlier today is reported as having been a volunteer at a Washington, D.C. based lesbian, gay, bisexual and transgendered center, according to a report by Fox News online. Early Fox News reported on Special Report that the suspected gunman was stopped and had his gun taken away from him, after injuring one person, by a security guard at the office.

The report said he shot one person in the arm and after the security guard took his gun away, he plead to the guard, saying “Don't shoot me, it was not about you, it was what this place stands for."

The shooting suspect, identified as 28-year-old Floyd Lee Corkins II , had volunteered for six months at The DC Center for the LGBT Community, according to its executive director David Mariner.

Homosexual activists have long criticized, and labeled as a “hate group” the Family Research Council because it opposes same-sex marriage...

When you stir up a group of already sick, troubled and lost people with violent and false rhetoric against someone, is it any wonder when one of them goes postal? I'm surprised it doesn't happen more often. Of course, time will tell if it will. And they accuse the Tea Party of violence. Has any bonafied Tea Perty member even been arrested, much less convicted of a crime in conjunction with a protest? If so, I can't remember it.
