First, Israel will carry out an “unprecedented cyber-attack which will totally paralyze the Iranian regime and its ability to know what is happening within its borders,” according to the claimed outline of the attack plan, which Silverstein states came from “an IDF officer.”

“The electrical grid throughout Iran will be paralyzed and transformer stations will absorb severe damage from carbon fiber munitions which are finer than a human hair, causing electrical short circuits whose repair requires their complete removal,” according to the document.
Next, the Israelis will rain missiles both from their own soil and from nearby submarines that will target Iran’s nuclear facilities. The warheads, the blog claims, will be conventional but will include special ammunition built to penetrate Iran’s underground facilities. In the third phase, an Israeli satellite will pass over the region and collect data assessing the damage caused to the targets. This information will quickly be relayed to Israeli Air Force jets already en route so they can adjust their targeting. The Israeli air strike, Silverstein writes, will be carried out by warplanes equipped with stealth capabilities unknown even to the United States. They will bomb not only nuclear facilities but also missile sites and other factories, and bases involved in the nuclear program.

Plausible. Funny thing is that even with advanced warning, there is little the Iranians could do to prevent this type of attack. Big question though is will it be strategically successful from the Israeli perspective and just how will the US be involved. Things will get ugly.

3 things I have never heard of: Carbon fiber munitions that do what the article says they do, Stealth technology that not even the US knows about and the strange way of describing bunker busters.

If it were me I’d blow up every dam in the country and use an EMP to fry their power grid. Let the mullahs spend the next decade worrying about how to feed their people as opposed to building a bomb.

Of course this "scoop" is intended for Iranian consumption. With half-a-brain, they could have figured this out by reading Janes and Popular Mechanics.

"You Worthy Oriental Gentlemen had better shape up, 'cause look at what we're afixin' to rain on your ass...."

Now for a dose of reality: Taking out key transformer substations in the grid in an area the size of Western Europe? How? Planes? Teams on the Ground? Sure, Power grids are very vulnerable. But, the Iranian military probably has back-ups ready to go on line just like ours, or Israel's. The civilians live with really shaky power anyway.

IAF jets "already on route?" From where? A one-way mission? Stealth "unkown to even the US...." OK, but can they fly a 5000 mile mission w/o refueling? A missile attack "with conventional Warheads." Nonsense. Do about as much damage to a hardened underground facility ... presuming one knew where every last one was to within 3 feet ... as a cheese blintz.

Good plan. PSYOPS ... but a good plan.

The real plan? A nuke with the 12th Imam's Holy Well at Ground Zero. Or somehow starting a civil war within Iran, with the military restoring the Shah?
