In an exclusive interview, Keller said, "The sad shooting the other day at the Family Research Council by a man who supports the radical homosexual agenda, was clearly fueled by the left wing group, the Southern Poverty Law Center.
... Keller said that if the Southern Poverty Law Center does not take his name and his ministry off of their 'hate map' in the next 72 hours, his attorneys will be filing a $100 million dollar defamation suit in Federal Court against the organization.
20+ years ago the SPLC won a civil law suit against Tom Metzger, his son, and his white supremacist group. The suit was on behalf of a victim of a vicious murder by skinheads of a defenseless black man.
Where did the shooter get his hatred? A gay group? The SPLC? Where?

Why does the SPLC get lots of money and get to define what is politically correct, and what is hate speech, and what groups should be persona non gratis and what groups should be illegal, and yet they are a private organization with their own agenda of gun control and pro racism, but for their own.
They do not deserve to have this power and influence with law enforcement in my opinion. These are government functions that even the government should not be doing.

Importantly, the SPLC is nothing more than a “barratry”(*) scam. A bunch of white take generous donations from liberal organizations to harass, defame and sue conservative organizations by associating them with real hate groups.
(*) barratry - The offense of persistently instigating lawsuits, typically groundless ones. Lawyers who engage in this are sometimes disbarred.

The SPLC is one part shake-down operation and the other part a hate group.
“Southern Poverty” is very adept at riding the usual wave of MSM liberal indignation.
They still have hides; they may be skinned and turned into useful products if necessary. These people stepped off planet Earth quite some time back and have now gotten into the business of soliciting murder.
