Philadelphia Inquirer publisher Moses Annenberg jailed on a tax case. Andrew Mellon - the former Treasury secretary, founder of what today would be called "supply side ecomomics," and well known financier - was indicted on a tax charge shortly before his death. Those cases were were just the most prominent in a larger pattern.
Those familiar with the history of the New Deal era can't help but take notice of the numerous ugly parallels between that period and today's Obama regime.
