After doing Conservative Superheroines and Liberal Supervillains I couldn't forget about the conservative guys!
I actually thought the first two groups would be more fun, which is why I did them first, but I think some of my favorite matchups ended up being in this group.
Like with the others I try to match up based on things like, personality and personal stories (of both the hero and conservative)...its not 100% perfect, but I think they're close.
Isn’t Lex Luthor a Conservative? Didn’t he run for President and win?
Interesting...
Do you have the links to the other posts?
They’re at the top of this post :-)
I like the Rush/Hellboy one. I would dispute the conservativeness of some (GWB especially).
Awesome! Art class was never like this.
Rush took the longest for me to hash out...I think he’s a very good match for Hellboy, between the amount power they yield, and perceptions of who they are is vs. how good they are...it was a good match.
I agree, I actually hesitated on GWB, Beck, and Gutfeld to certain degrees...but they’re all definitely right-of-center enough to count for the purpose of this series, and I think their matches work for them.
Just ignore Jimmy in there (although his line is pretty funny)
Limbaugh looks a lot like Greg Gutfeld.
I loved this when it was a short cartoon on SNL...awesome concept!
hmmm...I’m not seeing it...
Oh, wait...yeah, I screwed up that pic...but it’s fixed now :-)
I like most, but that Superman one is just terrible...absolutely terrible. Hannity is more the sidekick or super-pet type...Krypto or Ace, the Bat-Hound would work.
