Embattled GOP senatorial candidate Todd Akin received some words of encouragement from his opponent, sitting Senator Claire McCaskill (D-Mo).
I know a lot of people have been urging him to bow out, McCaskill observed. But really, why should he? Look, hes obviously confused about biology. As the President said, he must have missed science class. But there are worse things to be confused about.
A worse thing to be confused about is ethics, McCaskill went on. President Obama, for example, opposes giving aid to aborted babies that survive the procedure. I mean, once the child is outside the mother how does it harm her health to save its life? I think the President is on pretty weak ethical ground here. Yet, I dont hear anyone calling for him to bow out of the presidential race.
McCaskill suggested that voters might want to consider splitting their ballots. They could do the ethical thing by voting against the Presidents reelection and the smart thing by denying the intellectually challenged Akins bid to unseat me.

Hahaha, Claire, you’re no Sarah.
McCaskill has $2 million invested in him already, hardly an unbiased endorsement.
I want to see this out of touch women out of a job working at a soup kitchen. I will never forgive her for her dismissing of the conservative voices at the townhall meeting where she was telling people to shut up and not answering their questions. I don’t hate too many people, but liberals like her is very close to what I would call hate.
Ala Clintoon convincing floppy eared Perot to stay in.
I cannot stand this witch and want to see her go. She does not realize, but she is helping Akin by energizing the Republican base in this state.
3 paragraphs before I caught on. Kudos
Sounds like she is expecting to change parties after the election.
What that really means is she wants him OUT of the race. What ever a dem says, the direct opposite is the truth. She is desperately trying to get the Akin and the Republican party to switch candidates at the last minute.
She knows she is going to lose this race to Akin if something does not change.
BWAAHAHAHA! I love it!
I felt he should pull out and said so many times in FRs but
John; Akin ould pull this out. If he compares and disavows his statements to the progs pushing another pseudo scientific premise man made Global Warming and goes after Romney on his position on inscest and rape.
Sounds like McCaskill is siding with the Pro-Abort PhonyCons with her comments. She has been reading the GOP Liberals comments trashing Akin
The trolls on here asking Akin to drop out are just playing right into McCaskill’s hands. This is contrary to the Liberal PhonyCon claim that she financed Akin’s primary run.
Telling Liberal GOP to split the ticket for Romney and her is classic PhonyCon
