RINO’s Gone Wild.
They pretty much promised to move against conservatives

I saw virtually the same thing happen with the NRA. The existing power structure did not want to give up power to activists, so they cheated and lied and broke the law in order to keep their power and money.
After the grass roots dragged them screaming and kicking to victory, they pretended that they were the ones who orchestrated it all.

I would like to know why this is not laid at the feet of RINO Romney?

Lots of “stuff” seems to happen around Romney without it ever being stuck on him. A very clever behind-the-scenes type of guy.

You know, I get the distinct feeling that the GOP-elite would be fine with the following:
- Unaltered Obamacare.
- Sweeping gun bans and severe ammo restrictions.
- Abortion-on-demand.
- European socialism.
- Gay marriage.
- Advancing and increasing the role of Big Government.

There has been a compromise. They won’t be pulling this from the convention floor according to news that came out about ten minutes ago.

What they're trying to prevent is what happened in Michigan when Tea Partiers, Conservative republicans and libertarians came together and threw a top GOPe RINO out of power.
We Won!
Conservatives working in unison at the State Republican Convention sent a message to the establishment loud and clear: "It's our turn!"...No more `business as usual' politics orchestrated to appease the political masses with hollow claims of conservatism and principles each election cycle, only to disappear into the maze of lobbyists and special interests in the interim...This time, the false claims of an election year cycle fell on deaf ears, conservatism ruled the day...Libertarians, Tea Partiers, and true Republican conservatives unified in one of the most sweeping upsets of the incumbent power brokers I have seen in my lifetime...they have sent both the State and National GOP a clear ultimatum...This time we will not be silent, nor ignored, nor brushed aside...
Keep on Mind that Saul Anuzis was one the rules committee in Michigan that changed the rules the night after the primary to save Romney the indignity of a tie.

Unaltered Obamacare.
From what I'm seeing from many governors on both sides of the aisle, they expect Obamacare to stand. Here in Michigan, Rick Snyder is going full steam ahead for Obamacare through executive order.

This guy needs to take a course in clear thinking and concise writing. As I was reading, I kept waiting for him to list some valid points, such as some proposed rules being considered that were contrary to his viewpoints, etc.....
I’m sure his heart is in the right place but I’m a simple person. He needs to make a coherent case for his views.

The desperation to get Obama out is still managing to put us in chains to government, to corruption and overlords. We are warming frogs now, that’s for sure.

Even though Paulites made up a very small number of delegates, the delegation is unified in its opposition to these rules changes
That's another Alinsky tactic they're using. They know damn well that we aren't all Paul voters but they're trying to paint us that way.

It looks sometimes like a vast conspiracy to make us choose between two types of progressives.

“Its a replay of 1964 with another Romney at the center of it.”
And when George Romney lost the nomination, iirc he went all out to sink Goldwater.

That's because for all their talk about compromise, electability and us disgusting conservative "purists" they themselves are the ones who are completely unreasonable and only willing to compromise with the left.
Moderates are nothing but lying, manipulative, bottom feeding scum.

Of course they would.
For some reason, many FReepers have the idea that the R party is their friend - as if it will come around eventually to their way of thinking. They hated Reagan. Were embarrassed he won the nomination. They despise the Tea Party. They will do everything they can - with RINOmney’s leadership - to enact much of the same agenda Zero would.
The GOP is not the conservative’s friend.
They take your vote for granted. Where else would you go, they ask?
