I understand this point of view, that he’s “useless”, and the feeling of betrayal after having stood by him when he was being ‘released’ from npr. I am tempted to think this too. However... I think it’s important to have him and bob beckel too (much less so) on the network. They do provide a level of balance. Liberal positions are weak and indefensible. So in order to articulate those positions the spokesman for them ends up looking like a moron, especially when seated next to level headed articulate conservatives. We want america to know what these people really think. What we dont want is to be seen concealing and obfuscating opposing point of views like MSNBC Does. Like the way that they broke to commercial to conceal the minority speakers at the RNC Convention. Or the way that NPR did when they kicked williams out of their network. The contrast between the two thought processes is instructive in itself. We should also demonstrate the contrast between the reactions. Instead of seeking to silence the opposition like a liberal would do.

Let the Liberals speak... do not mute them lest we become like them.

I noticed that too as I was curious to see what MSNBC and CNN would be saying after the former campaign advisor for Obama who spoke and was making good points and MSNBC had some black liberal guy throwing him under the bus since he used to be a Democrat but was speaking in favor of Republicans and there was another guy on there saying he might as well be a Republican now, also throwing him under the bus. I forget the guys name but he did a great job at making Obama look like a miniscule zero that he is.
