Ever since the SB1070 controversy erupted, I have sported an Arizona State Flag decal on the back of my truck and SUV. It will definitely shine a little brighter today in Florida.
My gut feeling is they uncovered something that was not wrongdoing but rather was something that would make the Justice Department and the administration look bad. Otherwise they had no reason to drop the investigation.

He is not out of the woods yet: Federal investigators cleared controversial Sheriff Arpaio’s office of criminal wrongdoing regarding allegations of financial improprieties involving claims of abuse of county credit cards, misuse of funds and other financial matters. That investigation was separate from a federal civil rights lawsuit accusing Arpaio’s office of racial profiling.
