Political Science Fiction: "Hope & Change" Redo!
Self | 9/7/12 | Me

The most fascinating aspect of Barack Obama’s acceptance speech, other than it was pure, political science fiction, was that it was eerily identical to his 2008 address; both in tone and rhetoric. He promised to heal the Earth, feed the hungry, house the cold, foster economic vitality, restore unity, reduce the deficit, cut unemployment (5% again?), develop sustainable, domestic energy, provide transparency in all federal matters, and to strengthen our Armed Forces. Yes, “We the People” have heard it all before; all this from the same rationale, “patriotic” leader who said “You didn’t build it”, profits should be shared (envy rewarded), Bush is to blame, and that he would do everything in his power to advance his core set of beliefs, even if Congress and the Constitution were unwilling. What’s next; the new so-called party of “faith, responsibility, and tax-funded abortion” suggesting the tax returns of a successful, law-abiding citizen, who embodies the quintessential American dream, overrides four years of historic failure and broken trust? Are you getting that tingling feeling again, Chris Mathews? It’s called denial!

Yet, this time around, amidst the fog of delusion – beyond the pomp, pageantry and glittering generalities of his own grandeur and the hypnotic glare of his fervent followers – Barack Obama spoke as if completely immune to the plight of the nation, his contribution to the suffering of the American family: presiding over the worst economy since the Great Depression, the highest debt of any sitting president, 41 straight months of 8% unemployment, 15% real unemployment, massive home foreclosures, record low minority home and business ownership, attacking free enterprise, denouncing God & Israel, superseding the Constitution with executive orders, belittling the accomplishments of our fighting men and women for political gain, inflaming racial divisions and inciting class warfare to deflect from his own failures and fulfill his radical agenda at all costs. Tell me…what about any of that is presidential, in the best interests of liberty, integrity and prosperity, and worthy of a second term? ZERO!

Obama is so narcissistic, so devious in his subversive methodology, he will go to any length to manipulate the truth and lather the fears of voters in order to win re-election by any means necessary. Whether scaring seniors over losing Medicare - which he raided to fund Obamacare - blackmailing impoverished minorities for votes over welfare, or manipulating economic data to hide the true state of the nation, nothing is off limits. The only way “We the People” take back this country in November – to restore the promise that was once America – is to unconditionally destroy every distorted fact, sensational piece of propaganda, planted seed of benevolent Big Government, with unflinching perspective and cutthroat common sense. For in the end, if the truth be told, the splinter of sedition, unmitigated failure, will rise to the forefront of judgment! In other words, Mr. President, you can’t escape yourself!

Spot on! Thanks for your effort writing the truth.

Charles Krauthammer said Zer0’s speech lacked vision and called it “one of the emptiest speeches I have ever heard on a national stage.”

These DemonRATs remind me of pigs with fresh slop dripping off their chins. As long has they have a place at the trough, they will swallow anything and call it beef tenderloin. Zer0 threw a few bucket fulls of slop in the trough.

Zer0 should have just yelled, “SSSSSSSsssssssOOOOOOOOOooooWWWWWWeeeeeeeeeee piggy piggy!” and called it good.

Thanks so much. And Charles was on the money. It was nothing more fluff and political BS. ZERO was absolutely no record to run on...except his mouth.

Thanks for posting the article.

I must say, though, that I can’t figure out which is worse. Listening to Obama’s speech or reading reviews of it.

I’m just glad it’s over. Now, instead of the week long attempts at mind control , we can get back to the uncontrolled chaos that is our lives.

I agree. They called out Romney for supposedly lacking details and Obama had none. They’e so biased it’s sickening. Luckily, all their mindless propaganda can’t do one thing; hide the truth from those voters who are really suffering.

Right now, I’m just about ready to believe that this guy’s presidency is the follow-up to 9/11 and that to Islamic extremists and jihadists, Obama is not just another useful idiot, if you know what I mean and I’ll eat a Smart Car if I’m the only one who’s ever given it much thought.
