The media (and in fact every known entity who has a stake in The Cause) have all placed all of their eggs in obama's basket. Everything is at stake for them. If he goes down they all go down.
They are a stupid lot.

after all these years, you'd think every single freeper in his right mind would KNOW we must elect Romney...

Obama won 53% of the vote. That means 4% of those voters will have to admit they made a mistake. Most people are loath to admit they were wrong.
