She should be in a jail cell instead of running for Congress.
It would be great if this whole incident shined a spotlight on affirmative action in general; blacks have been pushing for some time to have white women removed from the “preferred” category (which might actually result in them opposing, and eventually helping overturn, such racist policies and laws).
I can’t believe someone can tell me with a straight face that my sons have to test better than other groups for school admissions, jobs/promotions, etc...and at the same time I’m supposed to care about enemies halfway around the world.
Sometimes I tutor high school students for the SAT. When their parents ask me for advice (”How high do his scores need to be?”), the topic sometimes comes up with white males that they will need to do better than other groups to get into the same schools. I see this as a sad fact and I feel for the kids and the parents that they have to start off by giving other groups a head start.
What surprises me is that sometimes the parents (presumably liberal) seem offended that I would tell them the truth about the situation. I don’t make those “rules”; I just work with my students to help them reach their goals within the rule system that someone else created.
Harvard’s motto is “TRUTH”. Time for a new motto.

Nothing summarizes it better than those bake sales where students in different groups pay less for cookies depending on their “handicap”; their liberal government is officially declaring them inferior.
