America, the new FAT KID?!?
Vanity | 11 September 2012 | areukiddingme1

I have been thinking about how to put this in writing for several weeks now, and then it occurred to me, America is one election away from becoming “the fat kid.”

The kid on the playground that is nice, but no one wants on their team.

The kid that gets a trophy for showing up because “it boosts his self esteem.”

The kid that earns Cs and spends hours eating cheetos and playing on the x-box.

The kid who’s Mom still cuts up his fruit and still cuts the crust off his sandwiches.

The kid, who still doesn’t drive, doesn’t have a girlfriend and has never been so much as scolded, this kid is a whiner and a pathetic excuse for what will someday become a man…this kid is the epitome of what is replacing the “greatest generation.”

I believe that America is one election away from assuming the role of “the world’s fat kid” if obama is reelected.

We will no longer be a nation that rewards hard work, dedication, commitment, and patriotism.

We are becoming the nation that used to believe in those things but now must lower the bar and lower our standards to accommodate mediocre achievement and dependency – We are becoming “the fat kid.”

Ironic if you think about it actually, as the U.S. veterans of World War II, the “greatest generation” continue to die at a rate of more than 1,000 a day, they are replaced by the dumpy, lazy “cry baby” entitlement generation.

America is in desperate need of leadership and direction and the cry babies what their hand outs. There is no way they will vote for more PE – When all they really want is a longer lunch hour.

What kind of kids are we raising? What kind of adults will they become? Will they someday assume the mantle of power and authority in this nation, capable of making tough, hard, unpopular decisions for the good of the nation? Will they be rugged individuals or group think soft fat kids, in other words, Momma’s boys.

How is it, that a president with as thin of a resume, poor of a job record, high unemployment numbers, increased dependency on welfare and food stamps even be considered a viable alternative for the office of the president of the United States.

I will tell you how, it’s because the nation is soft and growing softer every day.

Many American’s have given up on the fact that America is or was the greatest nation on the planet – They accept the notion that people flee their pathetic excuse for a country to come to America to be free, but then once here they try to change our country into the same cesspool they left behind. They accept, almost expect average or mediocre as the new excellent.

“Excellence is an art won by training and habituation. We do not act rightly because we have virtue or excellence, but we rather have those because we have acted rightly. We are what we repeatedly do. Excellence, then, is not an act but a habit.” ~ Aristotle

So, under this president, surrounded by and supported by less than average and mediocre supporters that have practiced the habit of failure, average, and mediocre, they are by virtue failure, average, and mediocre. They are the fat kids -- In my opinion.

This is the most important election of my life time and I for one hope that the “fat kids” don’t win!

Nope. America is the kid everyone hates because he is so much smarter, richer and better looking. The kid who seems to always get it right and have everything easy. The kid everyone looks to for leadership in times of troubles.

So what the other kids do is the mock and deride him to assuage their feeling of incompetence and inferiority.

I generally love the US, but I’m not so sure I feel the way you described, not with your President in charge. Not with Hollywood continuing to export it’s weird leftism and screwed up values, feminism and sodomy to the rest of the world. That I can leave.

When ever nature throws a fit from Pakistan to Indonesia to Japan, some of the 1st people on the ground helping the locals are American kids wearing American Military uniforms handing out American paid for relief supplies.

When the crap hits the fan the very 1st people the world looks to for rescue is the USA.

It who we are as a people, it is what we do.

I don’t disagree with either of your assertions. I have been on the Navy ship rendering aid to people in trouble.

But how long will it continue...we cannot withstand four more years of this president.

The kid who’s Mom still cuts up his fruit and still cuts the crust off his sandwiches.

The kid who doesn't know when to use "whose."

"How is it, that a president with as thin of a resume, poor of a job record, high unemployment numbers, increased dependency on welfare and food stamps even be considered a viable alternative for the office of the president of the United States?"

I think this explains a lot.
