Two things have become utterly transparent this week
The foreign policy ineptitude – to the point of endangering the lives of non-combatant American citizens – of the current administration.
The willingness of the mainstream media to prop up that ineptitude.
I was talking to a friend today who was very worked up about the embassy attacks happening throughout the Middle East. My friend’s comments were, (paraphrasing to protect the innocent) “Why the ‘heck’ are we sitting on our hands?! – You do not ‘mess’ with the United States like this!” I remembered the words of George Bush standing in the wreckage of the World Trade Center, “I hear you, the rest of the world hears you and the people who knocked these buildings down will hear all of us soon.”
What is happening now differs only in location and magnitude from what happened then – “insulting movie” not withstanding. (If I had a dime for every time I have been insulted in my life, especially about my faith, Warren Buffet would no longer be the richest man in America.)
Americans know that. There are a lot of things Americans are inattentive about. There are some things Americans allow themselves to be fooled about. But Americans will not be messed with in this fashion, nor will they stand by while a president allows them to be messed with.
Like it or not, this is a campaign issue and Barack Obama and his campaign better get very serious very fast or his days in the White House are numbered.

Mainstream media has brainwashed Americans for several years.
When Obama had Sgt. Crowley come to the White House for the "beer summit" the only man who drank real beer was the police officer. Obama, Biden, and Prof. Gates all drank non-alcoholic beer.
Folks, this can not go on any longer... tea party’rs, conservatives of all stripes, whether Democrat, Republican or Independents, JFK and Reagan Democrats, moms and dads of soldiers, sailors and airmen and just good and decent Americans... we have been at war with Islamist radicals for over ten years now, and this is what we have to show for it, a big fat egg, a nothing, a zero... our consulate sacked, our diplomat and others brutally murdered, and we are apologizing for some idiotic video movie? We are back at square one... after 10+ years and how many killed and maimed? Obama has brought us all the way back to the pit... liberals agonize over “taking the right tone”, while good committed people suffer excruciating death, dismemberment and psychological damage... FOR F’ING WHAT???!!! I’m f’ing tired of this BS, when the hell are we going to start making this right, when dammit...

Well here's the problem.
WE'RE ALREADY AT WAR!
but we aren't acting like it.
The American people are very angry about this. We will not be satisfied with condemnations or other mere words.
We want a response.
We want action.
We want that action to have a punitive flavor.
We want this response to be openly declared as retaliatory, not defensive or altruistic in nature.
We’re not going to get what we want from this President, and his lack of a punitive action will seal his fate this November.
