I’ve had good luck with the Thunderbolt too (Ruger 10/22), but have heard that it is not good to use in pistols. I bought some Wolf match grade one time, and it was the worst ever! It could have been a bad batch, I guess, but have never figured that out. I should have someone test it with a chrono.

For accuracy with a rifle, I think you should stick with something that has a velocity of around 1200 fps or slightly less.

Thunderbolt should work fine in a revolver, but may not work in a semi auto pistol.

It works fine in the marlin 60 semi auto rifle.

Every batch of Wolf ammo I’ve had for any of my firearms, was always dirty and fouled the weapon within 100-150 rounds. I gave-up on that brand years ago. JMO.

Good suggestion, frog. I’ll look into a brick after I get rid of the Velocitor ammo.
