The US embassy in Tehran in november 1979 didn't fare well.
The US embassy in Lebanon in the 1980s didn't fare very well either.
According to a recent story posted somewhere here in the forum today, he was there to formally announce the gift of an emergency medical center in Benghazi. He was to share the podium with a doctor from the Mass. General Hospital, who was in charge of this "humanitarian" aid effort.
Evidently Eastern Libya lacks good medical services. I wonder why? Libya has plenty of oil money. It must be something else. . . .
This is worse in that an American Ambassador was assassinated.
Most civilized countries in the world are at war with the savages of Islam. In America, the war appears to have extended to Christians as well.
If this is true it is going to be very hard to say anything publicly about it because of concern for the privacy rights of a deceased man. It has to be handled delicately out of respect for Stevens.
However, if true, it sure shows that the attacks had to have been planned for quite a while, and not just some uprising over a film. The terrorists had to have been monitoring FB to find this evidence, posted by his roommate. and I am sure they didnh't just do that right before they attacked the embassy. This would mean that: Getting Stevens was a major part of their goal, and they had to be aware when he was there in order to accomplish their mission against him.
Instead of accepting responsibility they tell the terrorist that the US government is not at fault, the American people are and they apologise on behalf of our freedom of speech.. In other words "Leave our embassies alone. Next time target another skycraper"

Yes the attacks had been planned and I believe Al Qaeda had inside coordination with Libyan security forces!
The inquiry will not render a moral judgement on this mans sexual proclivities but rather upon the Muslims acts of depravity of torturing and killing this man and taking his body for 12 hours for heaven knows what. The focus must and should be on the killers and terrorists actions. The hatred of muslims for homosexuals lead to this result and Obama enabled it to happen. The differentiation of hating an act and not the actor should not be lost in the discussion.

HillBuzz invested the consular/gay scene in Chicago after hearing these rumors, and it was a well-known FACT that he was gay. Since he lived in their country, and even the consulate workers would by all accounts have been Muslim, would not this fact have been known there? And at least one consulate worker or embassy guard found it reprehensible enough to spread the word? Most certainly, I believe.
If the Muslims in Benghai all knew it and it is known in the gay scene in Chicago, how ‘delicate’ of a secret could it be at this point? Delicate, only, to Obama and Hilary as they try to retain power in November. Those kinds of secrets need to be exposed for all to see, for they are also known as the TRUTH.
