PHOENIX -- Erika Andiola's mother was pulled over by Mesa Police Saturday night for speeding but Andiola believes there was another reason, a reason police said is irrelevant.
"According to the police she was going 50 miles per hour when it was supposed to be 40," Andiola told 92.3 KTAR's Jay Lawrence.
"I actually went to speak to one of the cops and he didn't even want to answer whether he stopped them or not because of the color of their skin but I honestly felt that was the reason why that happened."
Andiola added that her mother and two siblings who were also in the car were adamant that they weren't speeding. The family is Hispanic.

What do you guys think would happened if this same family were driving in small towns, that are well known for speed traps and the car is going 50mph in a 40mph zone ? Would the racial profiling defense be used ?

When I was a young skull full of mush, I would get stopped constantly. I always found it rather comical because I would reek of stale beer. I’d almost always get stopped going home after my job of sorting cans/bottles at the local grocery store. I’m surprised they never accused me of drinking and driving...

It's a short drive to Nogales from Phoenix. Once home, no problems with the traffic cops...other then having to hand over cash to them for no particular reason.
Oh no, it goes much further then that.
They are saying that you should be able to enter and remain in the United States at your own leisure if you aren't white.
Basically, they are claiming that the existence of the border itself is racist.

In the supermarkets, one can purchase them weighing 1-1/2 lb. They are not cheap. They are very large to say the least. I cannot get through one although I spread eating one over a period of days.
I also love, love, love peaches. Unfortunately they are picked too green from those countries that export them to Panama. Therefore, they never get that juicy. It affects the flavor that makes them sweet and tasty.
In the YTUBE the officer tells them if they have problem with the ticket they can show up in court and contest it.Instead they are trying to turn this into a major crisis. Will we next see Holder being asked to come to PHOENIX and set the police straight ?
My lily white niece got pulled over last week for going 60 in a 55. Too bad we can’t whine that it was because of the color of her skin.

You see, if they were Puerto Rican, blonde and blue-eyed, black, or anything in between, they would be "Hispanic." All Puerto Ricans are "Hispanics." It's the law. A Chilean, or god forbid an Argentine, well that's a horse of a different color. When it comes to "Hispanics" if you be too white, you ain't all right.
I am sorry this is so confusing. But the bureaucrapic rule of thumb here is that in order to be an Hispanic, one really ought to be the same skin tone as a brown paper bag, or darker. It's a melanin thing.
The best kind of federally protected minority would be a transgendered Negro with Venezuelan, Cuban, or Nicaraguan antecedents.

The other day a woman here claimed she got a speeding ticket on the freeway only because she is Hispanic...this is New Mexico- most of the LEOs are Hispanic, totally outrageous. Next time I get a ticket I am going to throw a fit and say it is only because I am white...
