FOREST PARK, Ohio Republican vice presidential nominee Paul Ryan, an avid hunter and outdoorsman, is preparing for some father-daughter bonding later this fall.
Ryan, who is in the midst of a bus tour through Ohio, shopped at Outdoor World with his brother Tobin for about 15 minutes and bought his 10-year-old daughter, Liza, camouflage clothing. He told reporters he plans to take her deer hunting this fall in Wisconsin and Oklahoma, where his wifes family resides.
Shes going to get to go hunting this year for the first time, Ryan said. Shes 10 years old, so she can hunt starting at 10.
Shes been getting ready, shes been practicing, he saud. I just need to get her some clothes.(continued)

My daughter spent many days with me in canoes, duck blinds and on deer stands.
A friend of mine was there while Paul Ryan was there.
You’re a good Daddy, Mr. Ryan. We only went fishing..nightly if we could..but the memories I have of those times have stayed with me all my life.
Good stuff. I hope she’s successful in her first hunt!
All the liberals at the ABC blog are going nuts about needing to wear blaze orange, having his daughter in a gun safety/firearms class, etc., etc.
I guess they don’t know that Ryan is a bow hunter. Maybe his daughter is an aspiring bow hunter, too?
But why let a little thing like facts and thinking get in the way of rediculing you poliyical opponents?
Fitting, as Ryan has also provided camouflage for Romney!
“Shhh... be very quiet... I’m hunting Whats.”
Yeah, but it really goes with her dress, don’t cha think?
That girl is lucky to have a father to take her hunting. My dad didn’t take me hunting but we spent many hours fishing and those are some of my best memories of my dad.
OOOOOh I bet that picture drives em wild. The liberals are scratching their eyes out at the sight. An assault rifle too. I love it.
Very cool. My college-student niece is a stunner and a sweetheart who has been into hunting for years. Her favorite Christmas gift last year was a new shotgun....she was so excited.

I don’t know about WI & OK, but in NC the blaze orange is not required when hunting on your own/family’s land. Nor is a hunting license for that matter.
Says in the article that she shoots a Remington 700.
Michelle: "Camoflauge? Oh, how gauche....."
My dad didn’t hunt but we spent many hours together fishing the lake where our summer cottage was located. I marveled at how far one pull with the oars would take us, especially after I tried it for the first time.
Still nothing quite like a skillet full of fresh blue gill and fried potatoes.
Oh heck no, the picture is of a cute little pink deer hunting rifle suitable for a 10 year old girl and legal in many states other than California. Studies show that most ten year old girls prefer semi-auto over bolt action when deer hunting.
He might get her out there, but shooting bambi ? good luck with that one
